I think I will remove these Christmas items from the list as they are bound to have sharply gone up in price now. I think if any of them are not being introduced for the new season, old stock still around from last year will not be around anywhere now. Famous last words:rotfl:. Needless to say, I have not seen any Christmas Cards at 40p around in Harrogate recently. The Nut Cracker is possibly, just about, still 13p but I feel it very much threatens to jump right up in price if so! Anyway, I'm deleting the lot, cos' I can!:D And the 'footprint' provided by this quotation of my own post will be here anyway in case that turns out to be wrong:cool:. Avoid all Christmas items from now on in, until further notice:rotfl::money::rotfl::rotfl:.0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »Doritos Tortilla Chips - 'B' Ultimate Cheeseburger (200g)£1.00 75p This is probably now half and half as to whether it will be in the collection stores. Also 19p store specific stock on RTC (M Market Drayton) earlier. I now think not: I no longer have the Doritos 'A' or 'B' this time though they will probably still be around somewhere (and possibly even more likely than before at much cheaper store specific RTC shelf price in M as they try even harder now to shift out the last remaining stock in the much fewer places that still have stock).
Slowly disappearing:rotfl:.
I think these are most likely no-go now, besides the much cheaper price in Market Drayton M earlier. I do not think they are gone (I never believe that anything at all is gone these days:rotfl:), however I think they are probably not in many stores now, including all of the collection stores.
No longer 'half and half' - that was my note last time. This time, I now think likely very little chance. I keep doing this on RTC items as they get so far in, usually :(immediately before they go to their best prices in M in the now fewer stores that still have them. I think that's probably the time the vast majority of them drop off the APG (in other words their M prices go to N/A) - and they are, anyway, better bought in M, in the right store that you probably will not have, that any comparison against a higher price of before that might have stood a chance. Clearly the 19p price would not be picked up, unless (a) they were in Market Drayton which was most unlikely indeed; and (b) there really was some error - as that was store-specific. I think the products are most likely still 75p national clearance price (but not many places 'national' now - probably very sparsely distributed). It is not a case this time of them now going down generally even cheaper. There will be lower prices on a store stickered basis. However, it's more unlikely now (unlikely things happen all the time!) that people would come across them.0 -

Good, thought it was just me, I have been concerned about signing in and out all the time with it. I wont worry now as I will be way behind you.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

queen_of_cheap wrote: »Evening folks
It's officially too dark now when I get home from work and the chooks have all gone to bed so I'll only see them at weekends or days off now until about February or March
You're going to miss seeing them as they will miss seeing you, I hated dark mornings and evenings when I had livestock. Going out to them by torch light just wasn't the same, neither was taking the horses out down the bridle path with torches attached to both sides lolqueen_of_cheap wrote: »I have First Alert smoke alarms in my house.
The downstairs one decided to test itself in the very early hours this morning   I'm glad they work :rotfl:
I'd have been no good if it was real though - it did its test thing and once it was silent, I turned over and went back to sleep :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
After having a house fire years ago, they didn't have smoke detectors then but as soon as they were on the market I got some. I slept much sounder after that. I wouldn't be without them XThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
