Which account is it for the £200 please. Do you have to do any DD? I have never switched banks before, but looking to remortgage to these soon, so might be an ideal time.Has anyone signed up to HSBC and had the application go through online straight away? Their application system suggests some do as has two stages after the one I was kicked off the system.
I applied last year, it was referred and I gave up (they gave me the cashback due to a complaint
). I applied today, it has again been referred :mad:. You can bet this will now involve having to go into branch, which is at least a two hour round trip.
It should be worth the effort with £200 for applying (ends today by midnght) but it really annoys me - they also ask the most intrusive questions of any application process.
No issues applying anywhere else.
