I've done something this morning.....that I know may not prove popular with some of the people it was aimed at...basically I feel as if I have pulled the pin and thrown the grenade....and am now just waiting for the fallout!
it's been a long time coming and has been directed at the management company who run one of the complexes we own a property on....but I feel so much better for having pressed the send button on my email.
Sometimes it just needs to be done It may not be as bad as you think but sometimes doing nothing eats away at the you
I have two of those situations this week One is family and it cant get worse so biting the bullet
The other is a tenant and DH is not happy with me but he was not there as she hurled abuse at me She is going (the house is no longer the fresh clean way she received it from the previous tenant who is her friend)
Take care0 -

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me this afternoon:(
I may have got the wrong one, was it a rose? sorry for missinforming0 -
Afternoon all, I am officially grumpy - best thing is to put me on ignore for now.
THis morning when i brought the ipad downstairs i found it had not charged overnight so I plugged it in again and it wasnt charging  So OH examined the charger connection point and declared it was damaged. Needless to say my other ipad charger could not be found and what he tried to use was not powerful enough so it would have taken all day to charge
In Sainsbobs yesterday i picked up a black box which was in the electronic sale section, some sort of ipad, tablet charger but OH said we didnt need it, despite it being only £3It wasn't there today of course and yes it would have done the job so instead I had to use some of my nectar point stash to get a new Belkin charger.
Its quite an elderly ipad now but i am very emotional attached to it and its always been lovingly treated so any hint that any bit of it being damaged is very depressing
Also this morning I had the iphone charging in the kitchen and OH noticed it so I had to admit to it falling out of my bag the other day, fortunately it had a glass screen protector which saved the screen but I was hoping not to tell OH. So now it has no screen protector at all and it is going to worry me now about getting damaged until the new one arrives from Amazon. First time this has ever happened so that and the ipad charger problem was not a good start to the day.
So off I went to Mr Tosssers - Hipp, soup, chicken breasts (orchard MOCs), Felix cat food (MOCs in the boxes) and pepsi - sadly no SoBe for Quidco clicksnappyAll MOCs scanned including a conditional spend for £20 and a 200 pointer from Orchard but the bill still seemed a bit high. Only afterwards did I realise I"d not bothered to count to 10 so no brand Gaurantee  Such a rooky mistake
OH well there is one item to go back which will make the final total what it would have been and the Hipps went straight into the food bank trolley so not a total loss.
On the plus side Ive fulfilled my random quota of good deeds for the day.
Sainsbobs sent me a mailing with weekly conditional spends and also ones for fuel save vouchers for a £30 spend - already had a set from Mr T this week for £20 spends. I also found a £2.50 conditional till spit for a £15 spend in Sainsbobs (after I'd just spent £20 ) - mostly with expiry dates for weeks when we are away so I enveloped them all up with the spare Mr T till spits and Sainsbobs till spits and the Orchard one for free pears and took them to my local friend who also coupons and does comps - she can use up any spare MOCs I cant use so I take her an envelope full to her regularly.
She has 4 ranging from 8 to 8 weeks so it was total chaos at her house as its half term and she is also having tablet and phone problems - it puts things into perspective, our own mad house
seems very calm and ordered by comparison :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Afternoon Eliters!
My BIL has just text to ask if DH would go as a named driver on his insurance. We live in totally different areas of the country and DH would never drive the car, it's purely for BIL to get his premiums down, as he's a young driver and only passed about a year ago (if that).
I can't find anything online to suggest whether it would affect DH's premiums if BIL ever claimed, but a colleague also suggested it might be insurance fraud if DH isn't actually going to be driving the car regularly. I'm confused so any pointers or advice would be appreciated, as I don't want to cause family problems, but equally we can't afford to pay higher premiums for BIL's sake! Doesn't help that SIL and BIL only ever contact us when they want us to buy something online for them (and then don't pay us back) or for us to do something that will save them money...0 -
Free on greenjinn (1st 200 claims)
typical as Ive just come back from there - probably all 200 claimed anyway ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. This is a very difficult situation but you need to be firm and send a text back. Tell them you have checked with your insurance company and they have advised against this as it would affect your premiums.
Yes it is fraud, its called Fronting.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Can anyone help me...my son was held up in a very bad car crash tailback yesterday on A13 at Beckton and as he was only half a dozen vehicles back he has been afftected by it.
He doesn't know the outcome and thinks there was a baby involved so he was up all night (he has mild autism and can't deal as well as some). I keep saying its rarely as bad as it looks but that won't appease him as a man there was laying it on and saying all sorts to him.
How can I find out or should I not ?...difficult
It does play on your mind for a long while afterwards, we had a very minor prang a long while back and whenever I was daydreaming it kept replaying in my head for months afterwards so your son even with his mild condition must be in torment.
If your GP surgery is a good one they might be able to offer him some talking therapy which might help him to unravel things.
Just a suggestion“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Arthien....I'm with mhoc on this one too....
Your bil could look at getting a policy with a black box, they can really bring down premiums too....but its one of those things that newly qualified drivers have to put up with I'm afraid....the premiums will reduce over time but dont put yourself at risk just to bring down a premium.
Our DS currently has no need for his car being at uni,and it is parked outside our house...both OH and I are authorised users on his policy but we dont use the car any more than if DS was at home in case there is the slightest hint of fronting.
It does seem that we are paying a large amount for it to be unused but in our mind its better to do that than risk prosecution in any way...
Before anyone suggests...sadly we can't put it off road as we don't have a driveway or garage.
I think if it feels wrong...it could end up going wrong for everyone involved.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0
