So, :hello:! I managed to do my price collection, using six stores, by starting at 7am instead of 11am. I had to cut down the route and visit stores I've visited before rather than going to other stores - there was no chance of me getting to West Kirby, which was my original plan, and being back here in time - but I've have still managed to visit stores farther away from me. So it wasn't all the stores I wanted, as I've already been to them before. However I think if I had gone elsewhere I would not have got the information I have got, although there is no way of knowing. Probably as a result of not being able to do my original run, I've found the frozen items on RTC prices have gone down even further:D. If you have any at all in your M, they will probably be in the freezer (they should all be in the freezer:rotfl:) that is marked with reduced price but will have no SELs or incorrect (probably full price) SEL.

These are just the prices I've found today:

Low Low Chicken Hotpot (320g) 25p I suspect other Low Low products, if they are anywhere, will also be same price. I have only seen the Chicken Hotpot nowadays however.
    M Liver & Bacon with Colcannon Mash (400g) (BC 5 0 10251 596882) 38p
    M Minced Beef Family Yorkshire Pudding (385g) (BC 5 010251 659389) 38p (one that I didn't know about before:rotfl:)
    M Signature Mushroom & Stilton Wellingtons (2 per pack - 340g) 49p
    Sharwood's Takeaway Egg Fried Rice (300g) 27p
    Sharwood's Takeaway Pilau Rice (300g) 27p

Also, Birds Eye Crispy Chicken (4 per pack - 340g) has gone down even more - from already excellent £1 to 90p. I think they just like putting SELs up but having no stock at all just to get us to go to M and have a look but not find anything:rotfl:.

I had no stock of the Crispy Chicken, yet again - I've looked in lots of places before, that don't have SELs, and not found any stock. In any event, so many items, that I did find stock of, and just no chance of getting them back home without spoiling:mad:. They are in stores some distance from me and, on the collection run, not going straight back home:(:(:rotfl:.

I wonder if Birds Eye Chicken Fingers 10 pack have gone down further than their 50p, perhaps - I can only speculate - to 25p in that one store in Coventry where they had lots of stock with just a "price crunch" label and no price on the shelf:rotfl:? Unfortunately, obviously I do not know as I have nothing at all regarding them in the stores visited earlier today.

It's woohoo on the Egg Fried Rice and we are cooking on gas because the 27p was the price told to me by the SA but I have Sharwood's Takeaway Pilau Rice (300g) elsewhere, scanned at the SS at 27p. So, it looks like the information is correct information!

Elsewhere, I also have M Signature All Butter Sundried Tomato Biscuits (75g) at 38p, which is one I don't think I've had before. Or I may well have done but ruled it out because of the very low weight:( - that may well be the reason, compared to biscuits packs of 200g at mbuy prices that work out at around 33p or 35p, the 75g pack is a very expensive pack!

I have Heinz Spaghetti Hoops in Tomato Sauce (4 per pack - 400g) at £1 but this is a store specific price at M Warrington. They will scan at £2 but you'll need to point out the reduced price sticker and get the SA to change the price to £1 as per the sticker.

Meanwhile, Teapigs Apple & Cinnamon 15 pack has gone to 50p. I imagine the others that were/are on reduction have done likewise.

I think the Badger's ale bottles (500ml) that were on £1 RTC have gone up to £1.65 and any 4 for £6:(. I had Badger's Tanglefoot in one store only and it scanned at £1.65. However, the M Signature ales, including the Golden Ale that completely vanished on me for the last three weeks and has suddenly reappeared:mad:, have gone to 78p RTC:). I now have the Signature Golden Ale in more than one store. However, I suspect this is a random snapshot - I bet they won't have it in the collection stores:rotfl:. Shepherd Neame Spitfire Ale (500ml) is now £1, as is J.W. Lees Manchester Star Ale (500ml).

I think I was right in what I said about the Weetabix Weetos (500g). I now have all my stores showing full price:( for it - £2.51 or, in one case, £2.67:rotfl: - the offer was supposed to be on until tomorrow, and may well be on until tomorrow in M, but, as I foresaw, they've changed their SELs to full price in advance of the price going up. Don't make a special trip to M - I have not scanned the product to check the actual price but was collecting for APG purposes and, with them all at full price, I think it's hopeless. I think the product will never work at all if they didn't have it at £1 last Wednesday - and it looks like they didn't have it £1 then:(.

I don't know how the Jacob's Biscuits for Cheese (250g) go from £1 until 6th November to £2 with crossed out £2.43:naughty: until 6th November. I don't even know if they have gone up from £1 to £2 - however I have a lot of £2 offer labels for them. They might still continue to work on the APG (assuming they are even working at present) as the main aisle SELs generally seem to have £1 and the £2 is often found on large offer labels around the stores - although I do have one store that has £2 on the main aisle now:( - although they haven't changed the SEL in the seasonal aisle - it still says £1:rotfl:. I would think they were £2 even though I am seeing £1 labels for them on the important place for the APG. They could however have stores that generally show £2 on the main aisles - you know they always have something different to me - and it could tip the other way and pick up £2 for M.

There was no issue last Wednesday (except that I didn't have them in as many stores:rotfl:) so I would say it is 'safer' now than after an update. M Signature Crackers for Cheese (250g) will be a lot cheaper though - I imagine they will still be 38p - but I suspect many people will not be able to find them.

Even in its life after going up in the price, the Marrow was potentially trying to irritate me. I ended up with the small store that suddenly came into stock with it last Wednesday (it was not there previously) as opposed to the other store not far away that had it before but from which it vanished so would probably not have been there now. I originally had the latter store on my route; however, purely because of a small queue of traffic, I turned off the roundabout the other way and travelled only slightly farther to the other store, so I did actually have the Marrow and, probably, other items that I would not have got - I've managed to find the Bacardi Spiced Oakheart 70cl as a result with a £10 SEL! So it is a bit better, on straight M prices, than £15 in M on 1L bottles (but APG should beat that, on the ones available at A) - however I suspect virtually no-one will have the Spiced Oakheart in their M! You may instead have some other RTC alcohol:cool:. However, I think the chances are more likely than not that you won't:(. Separately though the Pimms flavoured drinks don't seem have been very popular (I think there is a clue in my description as to why) - they seem not to have sold out and are still in a lot of places with £10 RTC.

The Winter Warmer Mulled Wine - spotted at Crewe on store specific £1.50 some months ago but general price was £3 - are not only no longer available there at £1.50 but have now gone up to £3.50!

I think the Garlic Flatbread is off (there's a Tear-to-Share version now at £1 in M but I don't think it will be the one that the APG will have linked up to) and I also think the APG is linked to the £1 version of the Plain 2 pack Naans and not the 50p version in M:(.

However, the Shanley Nit Comb is £3. I currently have it on my list at £3.25. I do not think that there is a price change today but that I have had an incorrect SEL - due to seeing £3 around in a couple more places, I've scanned the product and it's actually £3.

The Oat So Simples are off in M - were £1 now 2 for £4! Seabrook crisps that went up from 75p to £1 are now further price increase and 2 for £2:wall:! Fwiw, the White Baguette (400g) is now 50p. Pringles 190g are £1:D and the Muller 4 pack yogurts that I have at £1 - I do not know why they are there at all! - on the list are now 2 for £4! I think Glorious soups have gone from £1 to 2 for £3:(, so a doubling of the individual price and they get people to pay them 50p more for each one and buy twice as much as they may have done before:wall:.

I have the various packs of 'fresh' Steak (or Beef) Burgers, again, at 50p each and other versions of each at 75p each. Stock varies between stores. That can be quite a difference if you happen to have the 4 pack version - the right BC is £2 but the "wrong" one is £3:rotfl:! Just to explain, that I keep these (the right ones at 50p/£1/£2) on my list if I find any of the three versions at the 'right' prices - I don't necessarily find them all each time. So, for example, I may have a 2 pack at £1.50, which is the 'wrong' version, the price on the right BC, that am I looking for, is £1 (50p each). I may end up with just that 75p or £1.50 wrong version from my first store - or have nothing in the second - or vice versa. So, at store 3, I'm then looking for 50p/£1/£2 in packs. Each time I have done a price collection so far, I have always managed to find at least one of these and so all of them are, I believe, somewhere with the right BCs in M although some people will have only the higher-priced stock:(.

I could find steak burgers at 50p each at the counter - or earlier stores at 75p which is no good. If I have a steak burger priced at 50p at a counter, then that's it as far as I am concerned - the steak burgers remain on! But just to explain how I am dealing with these various versions of Steak (or occasionally called Beef) Burgers. So far, I've always managed to find some at 50p per burger (in whatever pack size or at counter) so I have decided the steak burgers have remained on, continuously, at least somewhere throughout the period I have had them on the list. Of course, the "continuously" does not mean continuously in one same store. But that, somewhere, each time, they are available from M. Just to confuse us (maybe:rotfl:), M has now brought in (or maybe it has long had it but it's the first time I've seen it:o) a variable weight version, which I shall do the maths to see whether it's price per kg. is equivalent to the 50p burger or 75p burger or something else:rotfl:.

Finally [I bet it isn't:rotfl:], as for the French Brie and Wyke Mature and Lockerbie Cheddars, I now only have stock at full price. I am deciding that Wyke Mature has now generally been £9.18/Kg full price for so long that remaining prepacked £5/Kg version will now have gone. I have seen no new stock and I believe the price generally has not gone back to £5/Kg current price, which will be indicated by price of newly cut cheese at the counter (although counters can vary, that's the problem:rotfl:). I think the £5/Kg is offer stock from earlier that, in prepacked form, just happens not to have been bought. It remains in M until it is sold - or until the use by date and then discounted etc. (the latter at least in theory). The price hasn't gone back to £9.18/Kg for some time recently so there will be no new £5/Kg prepacked stock and it would now have gone past its date.

The French Brie is generally £7/Kg, but it's possible some older stock with the old offer price of £5/Kg may still be around but it will be diminishing. That will remain on the list as that stock is not yet too far old. The Lockerbie Cheddar - I am only seeing £7/Kg - I don't know if £5/Kg is available anywhere from earlier. I think Lockerbie Cheddar has "generally" (though not really that much!) been £7/Kg recently and I am starting to doubt there is any at £5/Kg somewhere (which surely must be a sign that there is:rotfl:) - besides the problem with the Lockerbie Cheddar for me is that it has vanished from nearly every store for me - the clue is there in "nearly" - in other words, it has not and I still have it but I have just one remaining store with it now and nothing to indicate from there that it has been back at £5/Kg. The problem is that I am going from so few stores in order to try to see if it's had a recent £5/Kg offer or not, which would bring stock back in that could be unsold, as far as I am aware (and bearing in mind I don't see it much nowadays due to the lack of stores in which I see it) it has not been back at £5/Kg. I reckon it's more likely it's been £7/Kg for so much time - at least two months - that it's unlikely, but not impossible, that £5/Kg stock will be anywhere. I think you might still get £5/Kg French Brie if you are very lucky, otherwise no.

I do not know about Cathedral City 1Kg cheese at £5 anymore. I assume it is still that price being available in some rare store now that I have just not visited yet. I have had my stores go OOS on me and the product now gone. It will be in some store - and I suspect the price is unchanged. However, I can fudge the matter and remove the cheese at £5/Kg (and perhaps should remove all the others:rotfl:) as Iceland has been £1.50 for 350g.

You're not up-to-date as there are other changes and bits elsewhere and I'll update the list as soon as I can. For example, Kenco Milicano 95g/100g - a number of versions have gone onto £2 offer including Sunlight Blend 95g that was £2 RTC before - so going from £2 RTC to £2:wall:, although the SELs I see say crossed out £4.38:rotfl:. That one, and that one only as far as I am aware, went from £4.38 to £2 RTC, but the vast majority of stores for me displayed £4.38 even though it was really £2 - it should now become "safer", after the update, as the offer price is being displayed - of course it's not any good really and was only a fwiw for info.:rotfl: It's joined by others on the same (still expensive:D) offer price.

I think starting so early in the day may well have increased the items I needed to check at further stores due to SELs not being changed early on. So it may have created a bit extra there but, in the circumstances, that was unavoidable. Of course I have got extra items in a range that I was missing by visiting other stores last time:rotfl:! It's why I'm getting my other store today (100 miles away) to pick up the items that I get from another store before. I need my Gino's Chicken Nuggets store (even though they are not on offer today:(). I need my Morliny and Holland's Pie store elsewhere too, which I ensured that I got. And my other items from elsewhere:rotfl:. The panic stations (but that's suggesting it was worse than in fact it was) last night was not necessary - I always think I won't have time to do everything and then find myself with time to spare! And I've got back here in time to do the other commitment today which I have to be here at home to be able to do.

I have the Salad Peppers 3 pack going to £1 in M:(. Nonetheless, I started seeing that price only in stores visited later in the day, so they may be a possibility of the 82p price still being picked up for a short time. though I would say this is going to be off. EDIT: Still showing 82p on m.com. Maybe there are just getting a couple of stores to show full price SELs to try to confuse me:rotfl:.

EDIT 2: As usual, I don't get "everything" - I never do! - although I'm hoping online assists over the few items over which I am in a small amount of doubt. Heinz Little Kidz meals showing £1.45 online - they're off - so my 4 stores against 2 gave me the right result. Findus frozen meals - still showing 87p offer online - now rolled over - so my 3 stores against 3:eek: and I pick the lower price gives me the correct result. Hopefully they will not have full price SELs like that in the APG stores - however there are a few around today. I thought the Little Kidz meals were off and the Findus probably still on - indeed that's what online is now "confirming" (if it ever "confirms" anything:rotfl:), on both counts. Just an awareness this time that it could tip the wrong way on the Findus meals - probably better to wait until the new offer date becomes embedded in a little more as some stores have pulled the offer labels off, probably with them being due to have expired yesterday, and put them to showing full price. :idea:This is what had happened on the Laughing Cow dips - the offer rolled over before but I had too many stores for my liking showing full price afterwards, but that offer is now properly off as they are now full price online. All my stores showed £1.44 today. However, I have some Seriously Strong dips (not quite as much weight) now on £1.

Believe it or not, it's not as anomalous as it was last Wednesday:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
