Thank goodness, you must have been so worried...
As you say, storm in a teacup, but the whole work/social media thing is such an iffy area. We are all more aware of it now, but it doesn't seem right that things people did years back are now judged by today's standards. I also think that contracts don't cover this .

Anyway, I'm so pleased that all's well in the mhochousehold.

Yes, now I think about it when the contracts arrived for errant son we went through them very carefully and there was a line about social media and not bringing his company into disrepute but no specifics. Nothing about not putting your company name on FB profile
OH has been with the company for years, years before FB no contract like you get now, no company edict about social media ...

I think that's how they are interpreting this:

"Any transaction that is completed offline will not be eligible for this offer."

The above is on Lakeland and Currys page but the Currys page says separately:

"Points are awarded on home delivery, reserve & collect and pay & collect."

    whereas Lakeland isn't so explicit.

    Clear as mud, eh? :rotfl:

Regardless, I'm sticking to Currys home delivery as it's not worth the petrol, parking, time for me to go to Lakeland

edit: surely reserve and collect at Currys is completed offline...? Who wrote these T&Cs!

    I'll risk my £2.90 spend. :D

I think this is an example of what to buy at T - or, in the olden days, with cond.spends, used to be buy in T - now it's buy branded items only at T or probably buy in A straight. And don't go buying any own brands in T on which A aren't 10% cheaper. I've no idea why to buy 4 pack Mullers - the Baxters and the Pringles are no good against anywhere on the APG at the moment and the Pringles too expensive at £1.25 anyway. I won't even buy the Baxters soups either as I have lots of them in the cupboard, all in order, that were 'free' (or better) quite some time ago. Fwiw, the Sensations Peanuts can go against M as M is the only place that is returning N/A - A is more than 10% cheaper than everywhere else:(. The Pears are also returning N/A against M, and indeed N/A across the board although, even on a higher price than the Eday Essentials in Aldi of 39p some weeks ago, the 49p pears there should work out better as they may be packs of 7 (approx. 1Kg?). The Golden Fry is 42p in M, which is an offer price, and is comparing as such; however they have been onto 3 for £1 offers before - I think the most recent mbuy was 3 for £1.20 however - seem to be creeping up in price over the years. Don't go buying the Hilife at £3.88 - fwiw it's £3 for M on the APG but only 1.5Kg for that price?!? Have I mentioned everything? Almost:rotfl:.
