Decisions, decisions. Do I switch to BG as part of the MSE collective switch, knowing it will allegedly cost £50 more for the year than my current deal (minus £30 cashback, so £20 more for the year) .. but knowing my current BG fix (again MSE) ends in February, which it suggests will cost me another £27 per month from then on if I cannot get another cheap deal. MSE say prices are rising. We have to decide today ... what have others done please?
Many thanks

So who is going to be brave enough and try 10 like bubbs? :rotfl:
Would be interesting to see the result without the addition of the doves. :rotfl:
I really can't bring home any more poo no matter how nice it smells.I thought I only had 2 keter shelves full but combined with conditioner it is actually 3.

afternoon all, it's warmed up outside so the delightful smell of chicken poo is wafting in the air again and I am barricaded up again
so yesterday I started trying to do something about the study. There has always been 2 desks in the study as the house was always cluttered up with people doing homework, assignments, reports, essays etc. We don't need 2 desks now as the house has been depopulated and anyway people work on their phones, tablets and iPads now as much as they do on the stand alone computer.
So I listed the desk and a set of drawers on Streetlife and Freecycle - no replies so far so I might need to contact the Heart Foundation or one of the local charities later in the week
In the meantime I rearranged the furniture in the study removing the spare desk and so the 2nd desk is in the dining room with the set of drawers for now.
I rounded up the various bits of computer kit, endless hard drives and coils of black wire and no idea why there was 6 computer mice in various places - a winter job for Oh to sort out
I also emptied out the various assorted files and folders from one of the drawers on the main desk and added them to the heap of similar from the 2nd desk, the intension being to cull what I could and recycle where I could.
Some items were obvious like A4 paper pads which just needed re homing and old holiday brochures for recycling.
But I was still left With a giant stack on the sofa to sift through and a wicked thought occurred.
I measured the drawer and I've got 42cm of space to fill and the stack is just 35cm so in theory I could just ram it in the main desk drawer and then run off and do something more exciting :rotfl:
why do i start these jobs and then flag in the middle ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
For those of us down South a SW train offer. :money:
https://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/offers--days-out/offers/promotion/
The offer price does not show for tickets on National Rail enquiries. So it is best to check ticket prices actually on the SW train website. Have had to book 2 train trips during the offer period and SW trains showed the best deal whether a cheaper ticket or the offer.0 -

hmmm could use a gmail one and put a dot in a different place each time. That might work
Got two printed out, so have back up if all fails
I think what Dave meant was that if you had a yahoo account and a gmail account you could forward on the email sent from them to the yahoo account to your gmail account (x however many emails you have) so they were all in one place for ease of use

SnapAnt ....sorry to hear your Dad has had a mini stroke ..he was doing
so well ...I don't want to put a dampener on your Dad but all the adverts
etc etc say to act fast and get treatment ....and so maybe some medical
advice may be necessary ...in case it gets worse ...bless him I can
imagine he doesn't want to go back to hospital after the last time ....0 -
Afternoon all! Just popping in before going for a lunch break walk to stretch my legs (NOT going to the shops
)
Does anyone happen to still have their Orchard voucher for £5 on meat that goes with wine? I've lost mine and I'm not sure when the expiry is so I'm not sure if it's worth me turning the house upside down to look for it or not.
Hope the sunshine spreads and the Frocky team is doing well, 3 days in and counting! :j
Dh has the orchard voucher with him today to use...im thinking today is the last day..i will contact him and find out ..0
