Good morning, today I'm swapping the summer clothes for our winter clothes. It's a mammoth task but worth it once it's done.
The recovering of my headboard went well but the paint hadn't dried yesterday so it's being reconstructed tonight.
    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all :)

DH plays badminton on a Monday and often pops to Aldi on his way home and comes home with a load of treats. Will be interesting to see if he remembers today that it's frugal October.

morning all - still gorgeous here, I have to keep pinching myself to remind me its October!

not that we had much chance to relish this weekend

Friday night some local farmer decided at exactly 6 in the evening that is was a really good idea to open the silage pits/ go muck spreading, not sure which but the resulting smell seeping nto every room in the house was gagging - so all windows and doors shut tight and candles lit and we huddled in one safe room for the evening.
Saturday was a wet awful day so no muck spreading.
Sunday we came back from the shops, lovely day again so the intention was to do bulb planting but instead the farmer was doing more muck spreading, think it was chicken poo - so again, all windows shut and candles lit again - took these with me in the kitchen to do dinner - frying a lot of onions helped as well

better crack on before muck spreading starts again :rotfl:

    Morning folks!

Definite chill in the air this morning and the stars were still twinkling when I went on my walk. It's amazing how many less stars you can see down here :(

I have little faith in hg's OH - goodies galore :D
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
