I am wondering how everyone's OHs and nearest and dearest are dealing with the October challenge - are they avidly enthusiastic and looking forward to a month of exotic meals made from store cupboard contents and re invented left overs or Covent garden soup most days?

or are they plotting subtle revenge or sabotage like being incredibly late from work and having to go home via the chip shop or volunteering for all meetings which involve the organisers putting on a buffet so they are not hungry by the time they get home ...

or they even aware yet that anything is going on - are they still blissfully ignorant? :D

I wasn't going to tell my family, but then had a strop with DS at breakfast time and now they are aware. He had two onions, a full pack of bacon and 6 egg omelet and a tin of beans.:eek::eek::eek:

Think that was my favourite all time glitch. Besides freezing the ss till. :rotfl: As I was in credit.

I've probably said before I got all my xmas extras like the cake, pudding and crackers with the overage you got after they tried to put it right the second day and made it an even better glitch. :money:

Was great to stock the girls up for uni. Was just their sort of thing. :D And I still have few bits in my garage. :o :rotfl:

    Good evening all...

I hit T at the right time this afternoon and have filled the freezer...TM will be proud of me...stewing steak for £1.50, chicken fillets for £1.00,a rack of lamb with 7 bits for £1.40,beef roasting joint £1.40,summer kebabs x 3 packs, various other bits including enchalidas, potato skins, breaded mushrooms and pizza at no more than 40p per item....and then it took £2.00 off for a meat multibuy so the bill was £7.65

so I stocked for more than the next week and now only need some veg or rice to go with it all

    Well done LEJC

My asda reduced early for a Sunday and I missed loads of 20p items Will need to use up stuff in freezer :)

I got rtc frozen party prawns in filo pastry 12 for 80p Not in my total spend as used gift cards They are for DH's visitors

Also got mabilu as visitors may want some rather than free carling should be 12.60 AvT
