    Thank you.

24 pack Meaty seem to compare AvS £3.70 v£3 - £1 back on APG making them £2 (on MSM)?

Edit - though A app has these at £3 and no multi so may be no point.

Same on asda site too. :(

    Morning all

Saw some out of date soreen squidgy things on an A's shelf yesterday and as there was an SS nearby pointed it out to him.
Was just googling as one does to see what A's say about OOD stuff and found this

    "Out Of Date Products

If you find an out of date product you’re entitled to £10 store credit per product if you have bought the item/s. Asda can actually be fined by trading standards for selling out of date food so they are much more likely to keep you quiet with a gift card!"

Should I have asked for a GC or do you have to actually buy the product first and then go to CS complaining about the OOD stuff?

    tia :)

  • If your bank ( https://www.android.com/intl/en_uk/pay/ m&s bank is on that list ) supports android pay (which doesn't mean you have to have a contactless card) then

    1. confirm that you have an android phone
    2. make sure it has nfc (google the model number/name and it could tell you on the specs page--
alt method login to your google play account and load up the android pay app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel
if you get " This app is incompatible with your device" you probably dont have nfc
    #

    3. download android pay from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel

and follow the instructions within the app

There are two major strains of contactless/nfc,
    • the £30 and under option of bPay tags, keyfobs and contactless cards -- with offline and online terminal authentiation (the terminal instore phones home to check)
    • the High Value Contactless which Apple Pay and Android Pay (+Samsung Pay) let you pay for items over £30 with your phone as long as you authenticate with your fingerprint/ pin on your own device (instore terminals will phone home for this)
    • Samsung Pay (available in limited countries) has hardware which simulates a card swipe so can be used as a contactless payment option on non-nfc/contactless terminals.
In this context android and apple pay are pretty much equivalent nfc payment options but for their own respective platforms.

    morning all

regarding the Metro article regarding MasterCard and Android paid - free tube travel and Nero coffee on Mondays in October ...

the only MasterCard I have is my marks credit card so how do I go about getting android pay on it?
I think its a contactless card anyway but I rarely use it

(I am not even clear about apple pay or what the difference is between android paid and apple pay)

if anyone has the Marks sparks card and app check this mornings offers - I've got a free hot drink before 11.30 single us - what is the betting that OH wont have this offer :(

So our Saturday now consists of free graze box from Boots, free bag of crisps from Greggs and a shared coffee in Marks - it has to get better than this ...
Not sure yet if it will be Chester or Liverpool unless we can think of somewhere more exciting :D
