    Evening all

Been MIA today as had a hysteroscopy this morning. Well was suppose to be this morning. We had to be there by 8am after not having anything to eat or drink all night and then my op was at 12noon and I was the first one to go to theatre. All morning had the other ladies moaning away about the hold up. 6 attempts to get the GA in. That was the worst part as each time they try to put the needle in, it stung like hell. Didn't they use to use numbing gel or something like that before. Rest of the afternoon went without drama, came home about 4ish, straight to bed, slept like a log and now wide awake

    Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Last night we stayed in a village hotel, the deal was :-
2x2 course meal, glass of prosecco each and the room £69. Really good value, room really good and clean, big. Bed is massive.

Dh just been to ask how much for 1 more night, £170 :eek:
Cheapest on all the sites £150, it's nice but not that nice. So will book something a little cheaper for tonight :rotfl::rotfl:

My friends and I stayed in Village Hotel in June (2 nights for Good Food Show NEC) and loved it, especially on their £20 per night per room offer from early January. After staying, we checked out price for November show, but it was something like £790 for 2 rooms 2 nights !! I am hoping that this January offer is repeated as we have a list of dates to book for 2017 :rotfl:

Bubbs hope you enjoyed your hols. LEJC good luck with the move.
Sue & hg hoping your ok. 3dogs hope your ok too.

    xx

Yes thanks cjj, but I am finding it SO QUIET. I even have to remind myself to feed Berry and Noela as they don't mob me for food every couple of hours like Millie did. Actually feels like no dogs in the house as these two mainly sleep, eat, sunbath in garden, eat, sleep, and so on. Though Noela is certainly coming out of her shell, as I knew she would, without bully Millie telling her who's boss. I put away Millie's food bowl yesterday :( but all her toys are still scattered around the house and garden

I don't know what "scuba" is, well not in terms of a dress.

That was lovely in the shop, didn't feel it though as was not what I was after.

    :)

I've taken all my rings off for holiday as when I swim I find they are terribly loose & end up trying to put them on to chain around my neck on the edge of the pool.
But it feels weird with naked fingers that have 'waists' - I'm going to try & locate some silver rings I used to wear.
So handbag needs to be decluttered of cards & nail clippers etc.

I do it differently, I have a holiday handbag - nothing sharp has ever gone near it, it is soft enough to jam into a small space in hand lugage beside my camera bag, and it holds everything I need it to. And it was £1 at Blackbushe before it closed.

I still can't pack, not fully anyway. Last pre-holiday wash tomorrow night to go out on the line on Monday hopefully, still time for it to dry on the airer if necessary though.
