Just back from Wilko myself and there were no signs at all to show the seeds etc were reduced.
They did have gro bags for 50p.
All I got was the last pack of 3 ladies gardening gloves for £1.50.
Might be worth just trying a pack TS.......they are in 2 stores here so possibly all of them. I was like a child in a sweetshop:rotfl:
I'm so excited about next years planting already. So tempted to go back and get some of the flower seeds. It's such a great opportunity to try some new types:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Just looked on HUKD I should have got the seeds checked shouldn't I. Nothing in the gardening section seemed particularly reduced so I thought it was not in my store. Although the gardening stuff seemed to be spread over 2 aisles odd places...

Ha ha...on the same lines...but we've tucked a £20 note in his washbag with a little note....partly to see how long it takes him to realise that he's got to clean his teeth...I guess the quicker he finds it the better!
There are a few bits and bobs I know we have overlooked or forgotten but it's not as if he's not near a town centre that probably have all the same shops as at home...frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

I didn't bother as there was no sign to show any reduction whatsoever and I thought usually they go half price or something first.
Not even all the gardening gloves were RTC, some still said £6, there were pack of 3 jersey mens one large 50p but Mr TS uses more robust ones.
I usually love picking through the seeds too. Might be worth me going back down hour early to pick up DD3 and have another nose. Because nothing was going anywhere fast. Trouble is that is more parking money.0 -

and back in the room
Got to Shrewsbury before shops openedbut did find that Home Bargains opens at 8am. So for once I could properly browse, nice wood nail brushes 39p, 8 pack of Trebor extra strong mints 89p, & they sell Olbas bath :j
Anyway I was first into M&S & after wandering about wasting time I decided to ask where Sale stuff was. Was directed to a wall facing shifty looking stand with ½ dozen pairs of trousers at £1.99 & a nice striped seersucker jacket RTC from £145 to £10 but knew no one who would wear it
Found more hidden sale stands in each department. Womens sandals were £1.99
Lovely leather girls school shoes £1.99 (from £28) & same with boys trainers at 99p from £28
Got a nice cotton cardie/hoodie for £1.99 for Fourp.
Did QVC & got some Birkenstocks for a friend for £12lovely pink metallic ones.
As you can see I stopped off in Ws
Love the Birkenstocks. What a bargain. I always have the Florida. Do you go to Shrewsbury often?;)0 -
