    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Today I was walking down the street, as I was passing an oldish women I smiled and said "hello" (Sometimes I think you can make a persons day with just a smile or a nod or even a verbal recognition) Little did I know that it would me left with a spring in my step for the rest of the day. She smiled back and said "you look lovely." In a instant I've dismissed it because thats the way my mind works :( Didn't even get to say "thanks" as we were walking in opposite directions. I've not stopped thinking about that moment today and for once i'm going to accept the compliment from a complete stranger. :)

    Absolutely lovely, Westy.

    Sorry about Millie 3dogs xx

Sorry mhoc:o there was 3 on the shelf and i asked if any more and she went and got them for me:T
The fog is terrible here (Withernsea) but was beautiful in Bridlington today:T where are you staying in?

York - its a nice little 45 min jaunt up on the train to Scarborough - years since we have done this, fog most of the way though but clear on the way back. We had an afternoon appointment in York so it was only a quick visit. I did wonder about Bridlington but its 2 trains and Whitby is the same, 2 trains
I am annoyed with myself for not finding a nice assistant and asking about the dove minis, could really have done with them.

  • So sorry 3Dogs, read your post and my eyes filled with water. Millie is not suffering now.

Our Lab is going downhill, it's so painful to watch, just wish I could wind the clock back 10 years and see her bouncing through the rashes at the bottom of the field, occasionally stopping and sticking her head up so we could se where she was.

It is heartbreaking, out lab come out of puppyhood last year (she was 13 years of age at the time!).... she started to refuse to run, and now often refuses to walk and needs to be carried home.... but strangely she reverts to a puppy when you open the car door as she knows she is going swimming!

Yip Elderberries. I made some elderberry wine years ago, made sure almost all the sugar was converted to alcohol and then left it for 7 years. The recipe I followed suggested it got better the longer you left it. Well this was potent stuff when it was drank, Mother had to go and "lie down" after a glass and half :D:D:D:rotfl:

How many did it take your brother to lie down?

    MKS how's ds doing ?

Westie that's lovely, I agree with you about an hello making someone's day. Often made mine before I worked and when I felt isolated.

I think I may have missed birthdays so if I have I would like to send belated birthday wishes xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

    I didn't buy them, I was good today. :D

Pics are just for info purposes only. ;)

I sorted through my 2 crates full before the car boot but only got rid of 4 I didn't think I would ever use. :o I probably could have been a bit more ruthless, there were a few maybes so I kept them. :rotfl:

Anyway what do you mean I don't need them? As in I have enough or I have no use for them?
