Been sat in a traffic jam on the M4 near Heathrow for the last hour and a quarter. Two lanes closed due to an accident. Then it'll be the M25 car park.

Hope you are not there too long and no fatalities , i got stuck on A45 earlier due to accident so everyone needed to come off my junction, apparently air ambulance there as well :(
Then i was talking to my neighbour and someone that lives on the park , early 50's went on there normal morning jog, got home and dropped dead :( poor family :(

You have my sympathy, not fun. Must be a pretty bad accident though. :o

Been mad busy this week as my holiday gets over closer. Friday/Saturday I was in Cardiff, as we went to our first Uni open day for DD. Cardiff was lovely, but she decided the course wasn't for her (too academic and no real practical, she wants a mix of both as she is doing journalism). The journey both ways seemed to take forever so quite glad its a no.

bubbs, have a lovely holiday. :)

Tiny, glad the boot sale went well.

    Oh, thats not good. :(

Its easy to get grumpy in a traffic jam, I'm guilty of it myself, but its so often down to horrible accidents that end in fatalities or life changing injuries, and I do try and remember that when I feel myself getting stressed and cross.

This is what's holding you up MKS

A serious accident involving two cars is causing gridlock on the M4 between Hayes and the Heathrow Spur.

At least one person has been injured in the two-car collision which happened just after midday on Sunday (September 11).

According to Highways England the M4 eastbound has been closed while police investigation work is carried out.

Traffic has been released on the M4 westbound between J3 and J4, one lane remains closed.
