    Did we know about this?

MoneySavingExpert.com has today launched its brand-new Credit Club – a totally free way to check your credit score, whether you're likely to be accepted for credit in the real world and how to boost your chances.

Your credit acceptability impacts far more than just whether you'll get mortgages, loans or credit cards. It also affects how good a deal you'll get – and over a far wider product spectrum, including gas and electricity, mobiles and even monthly car insurance.

So MSE has now launched its new Credit Club, which will allow you to get your free Experian Credit Score, plus your unique Affordability Score, Credit Hit Rate and tips to boost them – more on which is below.

I read somewhere this week that Experian were doing this direct as well ... so looks like it may be a way to provide a service and then get commisions if people sign up (after using the service check if Cashback sites have any of the credit cards etc before you proceed and sign up through them - it is more MSE ;).

Also worth signing up for Noddke (free) and Ckearscore (free) and you then cover all three credit reference agencies. I am not convinced by the actual credit scores though as Noddle claims I am 2/5 (was 4/5 last month and nothing has changed - and was 5/5 before 02 messed up a year or so ago and although their error was corrected the score wasn't), while the others are at the top of the scale. Very useful to monitor though and spit any errors appearing.

A's Broccoli is now 360g whereas M's is still 335g now at 38p. I am wondering when, or whether, the price collectors will ever realise that M's product is within the 10% weight range - although I think it is, obviously, a new product in A at the moment that's taking time to pick up M.

This is now a convenient moment to start off the information from yesterday's Ms with some veg.-related things. The collectors are still missing the carrots - I think it's most likely that they can obviously see them in front of them in M but some technical fault with the system is failing to register the information, which they either can't correct or aren't concerned to do so, but if I may have a similar situation of my own with some carrots from M...

A few weeks back, M had both 1.5Kg Wonky Carrots and 1Kg Wonky Carrots in various stores (I found 1.5Kg in some and 1Kg in others). Typically I found the 1Kg first, when the 1.5Kg, which I was therefore initially missing, were (are?(?):rotfl:) better value:p.

It now seems to me that M has moved from 1.5Kg to 1Kg. I'm thinking that 1.5Kg are no longer produced/no longer available. I am sure that if I ever say M no longer has 1.5Kg Wonky Carrots, someone will tell me that they have them in their M. I have had no evidence of them now earlier in the week. The situation from yesterday is that I found just one store that had a 1.5Kg label up; however all the stock was of 1Kg bags. I can therefore, quite correctly, put the 1.5Kg carrots to "50p OOS" on the list. Anyway, as noted, the APG have their problems on other carrots in M so I can be permitted to have mine!

I notice the White Potatoes 2.5Kg on that last comp. M now has Wonky Potatoes at 2.5Kg and £1.12. They appear to be a new item (noticed by me for the first time yesterday:rotfl:). They did have 5Kg Wonky Potatoes at £2 some time ago, beaten by Aldi's non-Wonky everyday essential at £1.99. I think that is the reason that I have not persisted in trying to find the 5Kg Wonky Potatoes after they first became SELs up but no stock anywhere and then no trace at all in several stores - Aldi was cheaper and that was that.

I noticed Aldi have put their price up to £2.19:(:(. Unless T go back to straight £1 offer on different potatoes (Maris Piper was on that offer about a week ago but that offer is now gone), Aldi's potatoes still work out better and M is a little more expensive now although I suppose not too bad (but then they are expecting this price for Wonky Potatoes). None of them ever come anywhere near as good as the 29p bags last Easter, I would have thought purely a "loss leader" in order to get people more generally (not us:D) to do all of their big Easter shop and thus get the store far more than any loss, in comparison, on some potatoes.

Aldi have now put the essentials apples down to 75p (they were cheaper before and went up in increments) but as far as I've seen they are now just 5 pack:( apples so even worse than before:(:(:p. Meanwhile, every Farmfoods now seems to have an offer label for 15 pack Apples at £1 immediately below an empty part of the shelf:(. I now understand that that has been a "when it's gone" offer, from seeing a mention of this in another branch that I didn't have the first time. I managed, back then, successfully to purchase some:) - but have had no luck recently. I've now tried four separate Farmfoods in the past week, three when I just happened to be passing them. The first one was my main one to which I returned only to find none:(. It's not just my local stores either - they are OOS even farther afield, like 70 miles away from me:rotfl:, unless I was just unlucky yesterday. It now seems they are gone, which is a bit of a shame given how good value they were (are?)!

Well I may as well look for some apples whilst I'm out, just in case:rotfl::rotfl:. Having had no success elsewhere. I literally didn't even have Farmfoods on the itinerary and had no idea where they were located - I just happened to drive along a road that has one.
