    :)

A dull day here, Fourp doing talking texts regarding a Boxing Match tonight. bizarre.
Better than his moaning about every news item he is reading :o

Today I must sort out IKEA storage thingy as I bought drawers to fit in it when away.
Also try on my holiday vests & see if I can get away with my aging arms on show :o:o
And locate a set of those digital travel scales I got loads of a few years back when they were 50p in Ts. I can find heavy manual ones but not the lightweight ones.
But have unearthed a bag of 30 + nutcrackers that were a 1p :rotfl:

Just my 2 cents worth but every so often we say how quiet it is on here or put on our rose tinted glasses and reminisce about the good old days when other posters used to contribute to the thread regularly. We then conveniently forget why some (not all :A) of said posters either removed themselves or were removed. I know this doesn't apply to everyone and it is a shame that some people are unable to post or choose not to, but am also aware that although quieter it has perhaps been more pleasant recently. No offence intended at all - I have posted less recently as I am busier in RL ... but now back from holidays to work so should be able to play more :rotfl:.

When we were closed down lots of people (re)appeared and new people joined, to them we say don't be a stranger :) and everyone feel able to contribute.

It does seem there are less glitches around since the supermarkets changed their pricing/promo approaches - or are we just not spotting them as much? (I admit my head has been turned by the Cashback apps so I am not perhaps paying as much attention :o).

    Good morning all..

Seems I missed the wonderful Jelly B last night but what a lovely catch up...I do love a bit of dry humour and wit to stretch the brain cells.

Always just a pm away cjj if you need another perspective....but I'm sure you'll sort it all out...what will be will be xx

The saga with the estate agent continues and last night I must confess to sending the one line email that will force the issue one way or another!!!....although I only reacted to yet another "time critical" message from him making sure "the goal posts" were not about to be moved....the best bit was that he said the goal of his seller was to sell....
Well blow me down I feel empowered now knowing that!

Have a great weekend all...weather looks like pants and I'm off to prepare my next battle ....

One of the elite recommended Noddle, which I have found to be fab. It even allows me to know how much money I have paid off my mortgage debt... (I think it was Anon)

Kids you could throttle them, lets hope he is happy with the new partner.

I do like the idea of doing a cross stitch as a gift, but sadly I do not have the time and patience.... maybe one day!

This was years ago Ssm and he s not with her anymore . She was a bit young for him but was there for him when he went through his marriage break up. Hopefully third time lucky when he finds someone

Morning Anon.....I'm a bit late to the party with the Up& Go drinks......I have an offer for £1 off in T for the 330ml size but can't see it on their website. Wondering how much they are

Would I be better getting the smaller size in A to compare to the 250ml in T at 69p?

I haven't found the larger ones anywhere and someone said they were £1.79 each? http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/sainsburys-price-comparison/Yogurt_And_Milk_Drinks/Up_And_Go_Nutritious_Breakfast_on_the_Go_Chocolate_330ml.html

So yes would be better getting AvT or W, £1.38 (5 for £4) v 69p, making them about 13p each after APG and CoS/CS (10 claims on CoS and CS).

:hello:I'm up and running for the day! It's always quiet on here whenever I come in to post - I'm always contraire... I tend to come in with money-saving whenever you'll all chatting and when you're posting money-saving I come in with irrelevances. Mind you, you were very busy the other day - I came back from being out at M and, that day, you'd posted about ten pages:eek:.

I'm going to be resetting the M list soon, so that, over the next couple of days, you might be able to see all the errors/omissions that I have discovered with my price collections from earlier in the week. That's if I complete the next update as I'm intending to do and don't conflate some of it with next Monday. (I sometimes do this when clearly my usual collection stores aren't going to have some items that I've found elsewhere.) Clearly, earlier in the week was based on my inadequate 8 different stores, even though I now think that 17 (9 yesterday plus those 8) will also be inadequate:rotfl:. I've not got any plans under which I'm able to set aside another day to go out to further stores again, although I might incorporate some different ones into Monday/Wednesday next week and deal with some of it that way.

So, the details of what I've found so far will start appearing fairly soon. First I have some wombles I managed to get yesterday:D. I'm helped on this one by the Surf being on (not too good) offer in M as well as the Comfort 33 wash being on offer there. The Iceberg Lettuce has returned to comparing against M though:(, as it's now a little bit more expensive in M. The Whole Cucumber fails to compare again, although the Mixed Peppers are now picking up M once more:huh:. So, we can start buying Peppers in A again (as long as with the right items). With the Cucumber and also the Broccoli, which has changed in weight in A but they've not yet done their weight adjustments - not yet linked M's Broccoli up from A's new product - it's not given me the few pence I think it should have given on those items. However, they're continuing to miss the carrots, that are much more expensive in M, so it is approximately right.

I don't know where they get 600g pears at £1.27 - my conference pears in M are approximately 800g for £1.
