I've two returning to uni...one next weekend and the other the weekend after. Dining room full of one sons stuff and conservatory full of the other sons stuff ! I'll miss them when they go but be glad to regain the space !

I know the feeling, my 17 yo daughter went back to her boarding school last week. It's her last year of compulsory education. I miss her when she's gone but at least the house stays tidy for more than an hour and no fighting for the bathroom! It gets to me though when, for at least 2 weeks after she goes back I get four plates and four cutlery sets out at meal times and I remember she's not here 🙁

Was there a bake off sweepstake this year?

I watched the first one and read about the second episode with the gingerbread pubs...but thus far cant seem to engage with any of them ....the guy Selasi I think is good and I dont know why,but whenever Candice is on I think of PD!...but the others are all just a little lacklustre for me.

    Anyone got a favourite yet?

    Afternoon peeps. :)

Did anyone sign up for the 4 weeks of dog food from purina the other week? If so, has anyone had a delivery yet?

I've thought long and hard over this for the past few days...and maybe one of the reasons I'm not upset about the uni transition is simply that DS can come home,we will come home and whilst he's going to face huge challenges about living away from home he knows that it will always be there for him....
If only that were true of my shining star what I wouldn't give to have waved him off in a new uniform this morning xx

Feel like a real elite shopper today!
    Collected my M&S order,
White top reduced from £12.50 to £3.19 plus the free posh shower gel in a pouch which was priced at £19.50

Superdrug had the mini Dove travel sets - 3 bought, cost £3.00:j
They are by the top till in the Metro Centre store if any of the North East Coven are out and about.

Free coffee from the Nero Coffee card I wombled last time I was out (I did try to hand it in at the time, but was told to keep it).
So by my reckoning that's about £45 'saved' on a £6.19 spend and to think I thought I had to go to work to make money:rotfl::rotfl:
