    Morning all

Boys both dropped at school... My voice had a little wobble as I said goodbye to the little one but my mascara is intact (just!) ;)
I'm going to use this morning to head over to Boots to collect an order and my nearest Ts Extra and have a good mooch. Small needs collecting at 12 today so not got too long to amuse myself. I have a whole A4 jobs list of things to get done once I have whole days to myself.
The boys were very pleased with their new Monopoly game from Smyths that DH took them to get whilst I was working on Saturday :)
Right, hope you all have a good day, I'll catch up again later

Unfortunately the £50 Am4zon offer ended on 1/9.

The 3 current offer is 4gb data/unlimited mins/unlimited texts at £9 per month/12 month contract. If you did the RAF (where you get £25 Am4zon as does the referrer ... if you know the referrer so someone else in your house), then £108-50 = £58 for the year (£4.83 per month). Not as good price wise but still a reasonable deal.

Well I'm currently on Asda at £10 a month with 1Gb so its still a saving especially if the cashback goes through.

Seems to be better coverage around where I work as well

The even worse bit is the summer when your offspring finish uni or college etc and there is no going back in September/October you are no longer the mum to a students/students - instead you are the mum to young adults and that's when you feel really chronologically challenged

When my youngest finished uni it was all over in a flash - he had his interview for his first job and he was accepted and then had 6 weeks to finish all of his uni assignments and coursework and then he was gone up north, late May.
When your life has been segmented into the school year for decades there is a disjointed sense of loss when the calendar no longer has neat starts and finishes .

we should be racing around shouting "At last I am free of the drudgery of the school calendar, I don't have to slot my life in between 9 and 3, I can disappear for 4 day weekends just on a whim..." Instead it just takes a bit of time before you realise you are now your own boss again :D

  • Morning. Been missing a while but only read back a couple of pages so no idea what's been going on, sorry. :o

Aj I can see you've not been well, hope you are on the mend a little now? Take it easy and don't overdo it.

Rhos I hope your bloods go ok.

    Bubbs good luck stage dentist.

Hugs to anyone that might need them.

I've been a little stressed this last week hence I've not been on here. Garden was redone. Everything dug out and started from scratch. Decking is now great. Artificial grass there has been a major mess up with the quality of the product used and it is going to have to be replaced for a third time. :(
