Also can I ask a question of the elite landlords.

If someone gives you a name as a reference how do you take that reference up - do you ring, write or email and if so what questions are asked?

Eldest son has given us as a reference - quite legal as he still is registered for his postal vote so he is on the electoral roll for the home address and he still has his car insurance and bank account with the home address.

Half the time they never got in contact.

OH once had someone write to his work asking to confirm he worked for them.

Bit odd to be asked for a reference for a child, are you sure it isn't to be a guarantor?

I avoid Hermes, I won't buy from a retailer if that is there only delivery option and i'll never use them to send parcels. I Know people use them because they're cheap but some times it's not worth it. If you live out in the sticks they are generally rubbish.

I had a parcel that they claimed had been put through a letter box. Well I was baffled. Ended up contacting the retailer because Hermes wouldn't deal with me, and as far as the retailer was concerned it had been delivered and I was pulling a fast one! :(:( In the end I sent them a picture of my front and back door and kindly asked them to point out the letterbox that it had supposedly been delivered through. We didn't have any letterboxes :D:cool: they agreed to send out a replacement via RM and some legal document for me to sign saying that I never received the original package.

Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

    a quick question pretty please.

If the people who live in the forest send you a set of household questions do they still pay the normal remuneration?
It is an eon since I had the last one I cant remember what happens next - have to put a note on the calendar to check the account later in the week.
I've got a small balance but it was not enough to withdraw whenever the last time was

I was only asked one thing and I then got the thank you screen :(

Took me a minute to work out who "the people who live in the forest" were.

Generally the elves pay nothing for surveys but it often triggers an invite to something in the next few months.

I ring.... get them chatting and learn all sorts.

I also make sure I have met their children and inspected their teeth (they don't know I am doing it.... but I always think if their kids don't behaviour for half an hour they are more likely to wreck you house... and if they adults do not keep their kids teeth clean, they are unlikely to keep you house clean!)....

    MHOC...Sorry just has a though...it isn't a guarantor you've put yourself forward for is it....just as a referee?

Big difference between the two and I've just given you information about a reference request rather than guarantor which is slightly different and you have more responsibility with,

If you re guarantor, you will have signed for this prior to the tenancy agreement being signed (well should have).

    Morning all

Mums 2nd day at the hospice today. Yes she enjoyed it last week. We did all take her there for a look round, so she saw the group at work, so didn't have to go with her the first day.
Aaaah another day of freedom :D

Yesterday, took her to a place called plotlands near Basild0n. Its got a house there which has been left furnished as it was in the 40's or 50s. Ration books, etc. Mum loved it and spend a great afternoon chatting to the volunteers there about the war days :D

So glad that you Mam is enjoying the hospice and I bet she's not stopped talking about that other place, Plotlands ♥

From what I've read I think you can log out and log in to your various accounts on one device but you can only claim an offer once per device ....if that makes sense

    I've never actually tried :o

(eta: hmmm, just realised that would mean I can still refer family members so long as we don't all claim the same things)

'We' have 4 accounts and log in and out doing the same items on one phone. Shopmium is the only one that I can only do one on phone and one on ipad
