 I'm back, we've had a lovely afternoon and thankfully a lovely lunch, it's always a bit risky when you recommend somewhere but it was all good.
I hope everyone has had a safe journey home x

Standard timescale is 14 days for a letter before action. That's not set in stone but it's considered a 'reasonable ' time for them to reply with a solution or not reply so you can move on to the next stage.

I'm a little busy for the next few days but I'm free and bored after that :D i have the big meet up tomorrow, coffee with BQ on Friday and a VIP lunch on Saturday if I'm allowed over the wall. Plenty of time to help with your forms when they need to be in.

mhoc, lovely news. BTW you shouldn't need a Mac tomorrow as the weather says it's going to be dry and possibly even sunny. I have a feeling you will bring it anyway :rotfl:

Thanks FC. I hope the meet up has gone well and you enjoy the other things you've got booked in too, especially like the sound of a VIP lunch!

Good morning just looked out of the window and it is pouring with rain ...am hoping it will have cleared by the time we arrive in Cambridge as it is my Grandson's Graduation today:A am so looking forward to this and know I will get emotional so have popped plenty of tissues in the handbag ...then back home later to vote and then probably sit up all night to hear the results ..so a very busy emotional day ahead ..

Hope the graduation was fabulous no matter what the weather Nanny, you must be so proud. :)

    Good morning all.:D
We arrived home yesterday morning after a traumatic final four hours of our holiday:( We went for a final swim before our flight home, and walking back to the apartment I managed to step in a crab hole covered in grass, (think rabbit hole size, but made by a dinner plate sized land crab), and damaged my ankle, huge cracking/ripping sound, and unbelievable pain.
Flight home was painful, despite strapping and painkillers. Local hospital here x rayed it and I have ripped a ligament off the bone, taking a lump of bone with it. I'm now non weight bearing, with a back slab plaster, and elbow crutches. I'm really frustrated because I'm so limited. Couldn't even make a coffee and take it to the sitting room, so got DH to bring down the office chair and I'm trundling around downstairs on that, much to DS2's amusement.
Hope the meet goes well today and you all enjoy yourselves.
    N x

That sounds so painful. You're just trying to match VT with her sore foot aren't you?!

Need to go an vote in a bit, and take DD out for a driving lesson tomorrow as she has her test tomorrow.

She has just managed to score herself a summer job at the local-ish holiday park (not where bubbs is in case she reads this, other direction!) as a lifeguard. I told her to get in touch with them. She sent a cv last week and heard nothing, got her to chase it and she managed to pop in as she was out with her Dad and they were close by. £9 an hour. :D
