HE have approved my parking/hotel claim for Gatwick ! They say they ...'are delighted to inform me...' - not half as delighted as I am.

Thank you for the advice on how to do it. I think I might push my luck and try to find the single night that I need on my way home cheaper - it would be at the same hotel but done as a separate booking so it shouldn't interfere with the previous claim. Or do you reckon that would be unwise ?

just popping in as going away next week and need a one night hotel...its £144 on HE and £129 on the hotel website ...will this qualify or is there something else I will have to do..thanks in advance xx

oh and shall I put cancellation insurance with it just in case ??

I'm not qualified to advise as this is the first time I have tried this. Several people on here will probably be along in a bit to help. I can't see anything in the T&Cs that would stop you doing this - I just booked via HE (and topcashback !)phoned them up and gave them the website where it was cheaper and they completed my claim over the phone. That was yesterday and I got confirmation through this morning. Good Luck.

PS I didn't take the cancellation insurance as the difference was only £3 and I needed the booking anyway.

Go for it. Just check the t&c's on cancellation etc. I had a couple of lounges for different dates approved within an hour of each other.

It makes me smile to get this email afterwards.
