Well I have had to make a decision today, and eventually I have, im in, I would have been out for many many reasons, but I do believe if we pull out, the North East will get even less financial support. If the government have more money to spend, they will spend it further down south than here (and in marginal seats of course).

Shame I missed this, could have told you how to do a line check for yourself so they can't blame internal wiring (that is the normal excuse).

Don't take it personally, they always blame the customer before they even think about taking responsibility. Before now OH has had to time it to be in the customer's house at the same time as the BT engineer (not an easy task) and tell him which part of the equipment at the exchange was faulty!
