Someone reported LEJC for having an opinion?? Really? She is probably the most diplomatic person on this thread and tells it like it is. I think people should be reminded the report button is for widely offensive posts and not for posts you personally don't likeI've never seen LEJC being offensive or personal at all. Opinionated? Yes.....my kind of woman :T but people here seriously need to differentiate between personal annoyance and what is offensive to a wider audience
Just saying.....
Yes, absolutely, it's disgraceful that anyone could ever have an opinion on anything at all ever!:rotfl: How very dare they - just not on!:p:mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
FC, I agree with what you've said.0 -

Bless you Savvy. I'm very aware I haven't answered your PM yetI'm aware of it and I will. I'm just struggling to be personal with folk at the moment
ignoring people and not talking about my feelings is easier. that's when you find out who your friends are
im so glad your place on the thread has been recognised. For the work you put in, you deserve it. Well done you.0 -

It's rubbish as at least one other version - Ocean which A does not have an equivalent of - isn't showing on there for M but M do clearly have that one.
Of course I have got this from M, so it is still around - in more than one store. I think at least three where I've seen it on either Wednesday or yesterday now. So, the note will be removed and I think we are to ignore that OOS marking, or now "---", for M on msm as that merely means it has gone from m.com - probably simply OOS in Leamington.0 -

im so glad your place on the thread has been recognised. For the work you put in, you deserve it. Well done you.
I don't need the congratulations or 'accolade' or anything:o (but only slightly, just one symbol not two in a row;)). I was thinking a day or so ago but didn't get round to posting it - that it's actually not me putting in extra work for the thread but it's just something that I do and would probably be doing anyway. I see it that way - and I just choose to share the information (although yes that is a task in itself, but it's also organising the information for my own use on this place on the thread). It's just something that I started doing, several years ago, possibly five or six years ago now:eek: (gosh time flying if that's so!) on a smaller scale that has just expanded and expanded ever since.
It started off with me just getting the items I personally needed - for me to buy in A and compare - then I started getting items across the store, even though I didn't use or buy - anyone who knows someone with Asperger's will know this - just the collection of information, of seemingly no use sometimes, but the logic behind it (there always is) is that it might at some stage come into some use and in theory (even if I never do in practice) I could buy any one of these products. It's like the collection of train timetables for the whole country or an area, even those of routes you never travel on. It's the need to have comprehensive, complete information (even if nowadays I can see I will never achieve that with M:rotfl: - however, by now, surely, I can't be far off having seen everything at least once and surely, now, there's not much that I have never come across? - except for items that are specific to regions of the country that I haven't visited. To be fair, the new stores I'd never visited before, earlier this week, didn't now add much new - although of course they did add something - but I've found that in my local store as well now).
I think it is a recognition of my hard work though - even though I'd be doing this anyway - and with the expansions it's moved into - it started off just with my own items, then the whole store, in a single store, then I moved to elsewhere, then I found more items elsewhere and then I started going around and getting even more from elsewhere when I discovered every new M has yet more I haven't got and that I'd been deleting items merely because my stores didn't have them when other people's did. And failing to put other people's stores' items onto my list. Now, things almost never get removed even if I don't see them anywhere for months:rotfl:.
But then I do come across them again, months later! Almost every time - any time i take things off, they turn up later again. I must have removed the roast potatoes three separate times only to put them back on - I really thought they had gone last time I removed them but they had not - so, never again will I take them away! (I've been caught out by them turning out still to have them too many times:rotfl:.) There are some items that I'm not now seeing anywhere (despite a lot more stores) and that I think have really gone, though I can never be sure that is the case:rotfl:!
Anyway, I'm spending more time on writing these posts now - I hope this thread in total has no kilobytes limit and can cope with numerous text from myself:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
But, the "frustration" - at trying to work out what the prices of some things really are - when so many conflicts between SEL information in different stores - I think, really, I like it. It's part of the whole thing and it wouldn't be the same without it:rotfl:. I don't know why I have these things now - some of which I create myself (such as the cat milk if it really now is straight price) but it does seem to be more conflicts than what it was before. Certainly more than when I used just one store:rotfl:. (I didn't have conflicts much at all then:rotfl: - except on items in different places in the same store with different SELs probably - I can't remember if I did have that much. There must have been, when I was just in one store, so much that I was getting the wrong price for though, that I believed to be right, and offers that I missed and never saw at all as the one store didn't put them on the SEL - as well as me missing absolutely lots of items and complete ranges that they don't stock in my one store. Even when I had to use another store, on occasions of necessity - I think I may have been stuck at university one evening and only able to use one nearby town's store instead of my usual one - I didn't notice that there was much different to my normal store, but clearly there is - quite a lot as I have since discovered. And cheese prices - different in different stores depending on the stock left - who would have thought?
I'd have been telling you Wyke cheddar was £9.18/Kg from my local store, when in fact, as I now know, it is £5/Kg elsewhere (as they have newer stock in). Or even, from my single store that I used before, wouldn't even have any Wyke cheddar or Lockerbie cheddar at all:rotfl:. I'd have it, occasionally, on the one day in which I happened to be there and it had not sold out - I'd be off and on on it and crossing it off my list and then back on two weeks later, depending on it going in and out of one store, when in fact it's available constantly, somewhere, and with stock at two different prices. At least I have the greater consistency now - even if some items are completely gone from most places and almost nothing (apart from expired offers) being taken off the list, even if it's probably nowhere:rotfl:. Or almost nowhere - but, if it's almost nowhere, then it is somewhere - M does have it, it might be your only store and it is therefore rightly on the list! However, even now, I do lose things sometimes even though they presumably continue somewhere and I find them again later. Me losing things though, again, that is part of the thing for me now - a new dimension to it all that has opened up! (Of course it's of absolutely no interest to anybody generally and probably a very boring thing to most people:rotfl:. But people like me, I think, tend to get into things that don't interest many people - or which they couldn't stand the concentration to do - and I have my uses and it has a function that it plays in my life at present. I could stay in bed all day (although I don't - I like a good rest at times though:rotfl:) - I could go out to Morrisons and even if doing that would be of no interest for other people...)
It just fits in with me. It's got to be done, and it's gone to be done in the right way. In other words, my attempts to try to make sure I'm getting correct information and every possible item that I could get. (:eek::rotfl:But, in a way, that's how I work!) I'm sure I still make rare errors on occasion - and don't rely on the A prices on my list as I almost never get the chance to update them:rotfl: - and if anyone does notice anything incorrect (not that anyone except me would ever go and check to see if I was right lol:rotfl:), then please do let me know. I tend to be self-correcting though:p:rotfl::rotfl::cool: - although it's possible my stores occasionally aren't giving me the correct prices. Blame it on someone except you Savvy:p!:rotfl: But, no, I think people can understand that sometimes any "struggles" I have (which I rather enjoy it seems) are due to information presented to me in the stores I happened to have visited, that is, in another store I haven't gone to, very clear and without any doubt as to what the price is or what item it relates to.
Can't tell you how many pages are in an RTC notebook I've now got earlier, that I would have liked to do so - and not least because this fact might determine if the item really is of good price or not - as I have got no stock in the one store where I have the SEL:rotfl:. I may, at some point, though I doubt it, discover it from elsewhere. There also seems to be a general consensus that the Clip File is settling on 20p RTC now - I have that in several stores - even though I saw 13p RTC in one store now some weeks ago (13p SEL now no longer there). However, there's different BCs on some stationery items in some stores and I don't know what stock I am getting and what the prices are on other stock (on different BC perhaps) available elsewhere that I don't have in my stores. So, maybe, they are still 13p somewhere on some other BC that I am assuming - and the different in price now, pragmatically, is not so great as to be a major error on the list even if it should be wrong. If anyone has had any success in finding a Clip File, marked at any price at all, or no price, in their M scanning at 13p, please do let me know as that would be very useful to know. I would never know (and neither would anyone else) if they were 20p for everybody that has them and if 13p is now available to no-one at all. Maybe someone has a 13p SEL somewhere? If so, do let me know (or watch me taking weeks and months before I visit your M as I know people just like to watch:rotfl::T). But, I'm sure you won't think that I am not aware of these potential anomalies if your Clip Files have been scanning at 20p, or even at full price. (Some things I do know and I don't always post to say it. Like offers on some items that do get posted to here - that I did know about but didn't make the list as I didn't think they were good enough price:rotfl:.)0 -

Oral B Stages Disney Power Rechargeable Toothbrush Age 3+ - Disney Frozen£17.50 £15.00
:rotfl:You can notice the one item that I had in bold last time, as a newly-added item, suggesting that - as is indeed the case - I didn't have this in any of the stores I checked on the previous collection but only found it in another store now checked. I do now have both. However, this maybe tells you something about the haphazard nature of it all, though I would hope that they would get both of them on the price comparison. "Hope" being the key word.
In fact, I've now got Avengers in two stores, one of which also has Disney Frozen. And I've got Disney Frozen in another store that doesn't have Avengers.
So two stores with only one of them (Avengers in one of them and Frozen in the other) and one store with both. (And no trace elsewhere:eek::eek::rotfl: - though that's pretty par for the course - I'm sure they will appear in those other stores at different times as they "move around" - they don't actually, they just come into different stores and, you'd hope, get picked up at one one time and the other the next - and set of several stores, hopefully, likely to pick up both. They may continue round and round other stores for several months to come:rotfl:. And possibly may go cheaper although probably then remaining in fewer stores by that time.)
Or it could be that I really did have Avengers in one of my stores before but that I missed it. That's a possibility, although I would always think it would be rare. It's more likely to happen if I haven't had time to go around everywhere in a store (usually because it's my second or third or subsequent store) and these items can be in strange places sometimes. I have a chance of bumping into them randomly at times and seeing them though. Now I have them both the thing is that, if they disappear for me from stores where they were in the main aisle, prominent enough, I will be carrying them over to other stores as missing items and then having to do* fuller searches for them there, until I eventually conclude I can't find them but that they will always be in some other M that I haven't visited and so assume they remain there at the same price. Might be carrying these over to second, third and fourth stores of a day in future:rotfl: - until either I then find them in one and stop looking or I end up, eventually, with that assumption - and then, finally, get round to going out elsewhere and finding them once more (of course!:D As they were, indeed, remaining in that other M (and more Ms beyond it)).
Actually, they've not yet appeared in my normal first store. So they have been, last time, carryovers to the second one anyway (and then one of them picked up there - later store came up with the other). So, they might disappear from the second, or the other one from the other, at some stage but may then appear in my first store and therefore actually become easier to find and not be a 'dreaded':D:mad: carryover at all:rotfl:. (All depends where I start out from. And what perspective or initial view you are coming at something from.)
*Of course, I don't "have to do" anything at all, but anyway:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -

Nuby No Spill Super Spout Grip 'N' Sip 240ml Cup 4mth+£2.99 £2.00:eek: I've now lost this too, except from a store that shows (believed to be incorrect) £3 price:(.[/Strike] I'm getting rid:(. I've lost both of these from several more stores now - M has had a change in baby products range in many stores - some "new" items come in, mainly at full prices:( and seem to have taken some of the old products off the shelves.
:rotfl::rotfl:I think I crossed them out in a sheer snap moment of frustration at not finding them anywhere in numerous stores before. Just so annoyed by them at that stage:rotfl:!:p:mad::mad: Grrr....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Bloody darn things, where are you? Anyhow...
I now have the Grip 'N' Sip cup back - although £2 in two stores and (believed to be) incorrect £3 in another - so still around. I'm going to reinstate it, whether it would work or not as it's still offered by M and probably at £2. I haven't got the Flex Straw Cup back though - and now no trace of that despite visiting two dozen stores!:rotfl: Not 100% sure what to do with that - but I think I'll reinstate it but with my note still on it. It was quite common before - though it did go through a period of stockout for me in a few stores - I found it in Wrexham though and I tried to make its presence more obvious - they had temporary OOS label on the main aisle but the product was on a shelf elsewhere in the store - it had been OOS for a time in some stores for me but did come back - I hoped it wouldn't have dropped off and gone N/A by then - in other stores, it was more often OOS for me but I did still have it hanging on in some stores so I was still just about picking it up (this won't be the same as the APG I suspect) - but it does seem, with 'new' baby range products coming into M - really expensive! - this one has been taken off the shelves in many stores:(.
There's another separate item, which I have not mentioned before (and didn't see as good enough to get to the list) but which is convenient to mention now - the Nuby Chewbies Teether (which is stocked by A) at £2 in M. However, there is a 30p More points offer on it which I believe is probably still on (you may not know this as it wasn't showing in all Ms for me, where I have the product at all). So that the 30p may work out better than 10% cheaper. However, with Disney Teethers and the like being priced at straight 50p before - or indeed even still available in a quite rare M now - but they are still there - it's very rare to come across so don't hold out great hope - but it may be your store - why would you buy a Teether at expensive £2 even with 30p points?!?:rotfl:0 -

It's proving difficult again and I've lost it now (in other Ms) - probably gone from most, or shifted out to make way for full price products:(:(.
Or, it just depends which Ms you go to. I have this in three separate stores now - two on Wednesday and another different one yesterday. As opposed to zero out of six on Monday (but I did imply its existence at still £6 from another product which I found - not something that price collectors could do).
I don't know - maybe it's now just available in my local Ms and nowhere else:rotfl:.
One store out of was it five or six? last Wednesday - eventually found on the end of an aisle at my final last-gasp store:D(:rotfl:) - I turned around and there it was - zippo on Monday, two out of five on Wednesday and one out of three:rotfl: yesterday. I've changed my opinion on this somewhat therefore - and will delete much of my note as I'm no longer having trouble on it. Perhaps the "trouble" will come back renewed on Monday:rotfl::p:rotfl::rotfl:.
However, I'm still concerned about the word "Decorative" and that that might cause the product not to be seen as the same one and therefore non-comparable and return N/A on the APG. Moreover, I think I've found another set of bottles now at £3 price in M, so I'll need to check what I've written about those in my information!0 -

Hydr8 Strawberry & Kiwi NAS Flavoured Water (4x500ml)£1.00
Again - guess which ones Savvy didn't have in his stores last week:rotfl:.
I'm not sure why these are on the list though - there's some Harrogate Still that works out a better price per unit - even though it's a bigger pack and the own brand flavoured waters, even on straight mbuy price, that is no glitch, are cheaper than these work out to be. I think their place on the list is just one of those anomalies:cool:.0 -

Indeed. £1.65 and mbuy.
If you go back to the post I've quoted from, the product has now strangely disappeared from the list!:cool:0
