My big news - errant son drove down to Kent today to his new digs in Rochester and he starts his new job on Friday

He is now available for adoption if anyone wants a 24 year old with a vast appetite who needs their fridge and freezer eating down :D

    Afternoon All,

Up early this morning to take DS1 and GF to airport. Decided not to go to work today, as it looked a dry day and tomorrow is rain. (I'll go tomorrow!).

Cut down some more trees in the garden, until it started raining! Now too windy to risk cutting any more. This chain saw is such fun! (As long as you have all the safety equipment and are very sensible. Which I am obviously. :D).

Took DD and DS2 to Pizza Express for lunch to take advantage of 2 for 1 Dough balls and mains. Their penance was to wait in the car while I went to Waities for 3 for 2 toothpaste and Dorset Cereals Museli and Granola...... Finally got 3 £1 vouchers from playing mini games, only to find 3 for 2 gone. Museli works out to 60p a pack with £1 voucher and 20% My Picks, so cheered up a bit!

More de cluttering this afternoon and then Elvis and Nixon tonight with Meercat Movies. (BFG last night).

This holiday lark is exhausting! I have bought some of the Magnesium Oil in Holand and Barret as I have a painful knee and middle finger on right hand. I will need to spray all over at this rate!

Have a good evening. HE x

Afternoon all - just back from Ts as wanted a few bits and thought I'd stock up on the tubs of chewing gum that is on offer to use up a Conditional spend.

None on shelves - checked all locations so asked a Manager to see if any out the back. Apparently they have been removed from the shelves as the security team had been in and advised that they were very "nickable". Poor guy was very helpful and eventually he came back to say that there were loads in the lock up but he didn't have the key - so he disappeared again for ages this time. After 15mins I went to the customer service desk to find out what was happening. So they sent someone off to search for him. This has all the making of a farce cos when he came back he had one tub in his hand which was a shame as I wanted 10 - so off he goes again. :rotfl: Did feel sorry for him as he thought it was ridiculous as well plus in order for him to get the key to the lock up he has go upstairs and complete a load of security checks. I did say would it be helpful if I raised the matter with CS - please do as its getting ridiculous!

Upshot was I had a good laugh on the phone with CS who said well perhaps it was a new policy to remove everything from the shelves so they can't be nicked but Ts need to remember that some customers actually want to spend £££. So she is sending me a £10 gift card for the inconvenience :D

Hope everyone is doing ok. x

I know, but the chances of them getting here in a week and a half are slim, and thats when the vouchers run out. I will give it a shot though.

You can pick up a new nectar card from Sainsburys and when you are ready give them a call and register new card and ask for any points on your old card to be transfered to new one, you can use yr cond.spend as soon as you pick up another nectar card. HTH
