    Morning folks!

Walk and workout done. Just polished of a big bowl of chocolatey porridge - best way to start the day :D

Any one got one of these?

    Ab-Wheel.jpg

Dare say if you do it will be hidden away in the loft or under the stairs if it survived not being chucked or sold at a car boot :rotfl:

Very effective for a workout, give it a go :D

Yes hidden somewhere in the garage:rotfl:

    Thanks you MKS.

Its the one month one I'm looking at, as I understand it I just need a three PAYG sim and pay the £20 bolt on to get what you've described above? I take it that it won't then connect and run the risk of me billed if I'm somewhere where it doesn't cover (like on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean somewhere, as this is what I'm worried about?). I just really want it to be able to communicate with kids when I'm in Barcelona and New York, will have to hope for free wi-fi in Portugal and Canada when we stop there as those countries aren't on the feel at home.

I have a really dumb question, when putting numbers into the new sim, do I input them just as I would normally, or do I have to put them all in as +44 numbers?

And finally, what is a mi-fi please? I'm not very techie as you can tell! :rotfl:

Something I know  A mifi is a mobile broadband. You can charge them up and take them anywhere they have a sim in. Mine is just a PAYG as only use it summer while over caravan.

How long are you going away for?

Depends how much you want to text/talk to your DC. :D
The rolling 1 month (give notice as soon as it's activated). It is activated when you buy it. I had a limit (the 12gb) put on my DGD so the bill couldn't go higher. Obviuosly wouldn't happen on payg but allowances look better on 1 month contract. When not in FaH countries, turn data roaming off and check call/text costs. I didn't put +44 on new numbers last week and they worked fine. I think on my phone, previously had pressed a button and all numbers has +44 added. (I am not a techie).

In laymans terms, mi-fi is a little gadget (like a dongle but stand alone) that you put the sim card into and then up to five or some are 10, devices can connect with it to use wi-fi as opposed to 3/4g.

    Hope that helps.

I'm basically away just over 2 weeks including my night at the airport pre-flight, got 1 night in Barcelona pre-cruise, so effectively thats 2 days I can contact them, use data etc, then its an 11 night cruise where I end up in New York, and am there for a couple of nights before night flight home. So whilst there is a fair bit of time I wouldn't be able to make use of it, I think its still worth it for the bits either end of the cruise, especially when I'm in NYC.

I don't think the PAYG allowances are much different, think its 12GB of data. I just think that would be much easier, as I wouldn't need to worry about connecting to the wrong network, like the ships network or something, as it simply wouldn't work if I wasn't in the correct country with an allowed network (if that makes sense).

Have never bothered before, but then I've never done a trip like this before when the kids haven't come, and it would be nice to be able to speak to them, send them pics etc when I'm in NYC.

Quick question before I go to visit my Dad. Is your phone unlocked? If an iphone, back up your phone, switch sims and restore.

    Good morning everyone.

Off to wales this morning, taking my mum for a few days get away.

I cant get into it legs first or over the head nearly got it stuck over the head :rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry to hear this bubbs, this is what my mum has, she has had to give up her cleaning work as she just aggravated it even more, she is having to have steriod injections quite regular now for the pain, but even that is not really helping at the minute.

Thats another reason why I am taking her away, so she can have a rest from looking after the rest of the family she got living with her, both of by brothers have appeared back home, after having trouble with girlfriends.

Yes tiny, they are a funny yellow :rotfl::rotfl: and they are too long for me aswell, but like you say they can be turned up, or just wear them with boots

I will have a look at the swimming stuff in Debenhams, I do struggle with being a little bigger on top than the bottom, I tend to have to buy separates anyway :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I would give it up tomorrow if i didnt work for my sister but at the moment she has enough on her plate without worrying about finding new staff:o
Did i read your DH has to have another op?

I did stay dry, thank you both! Was slightly easier getting catheter in this morning, will see how it goes today as to whether I decide to tape one in for a bit or not.

    :( sorry Bubbs knees ♥

I've got a silly pain in my foot giving me restricted walking - started taking my Gout tablets (just in case :o )
As my friend texted me this morning for a mail bag as she had run out, I decided to walk up the 'mountain' to put them through her letter box, easier than her gathering kids together to come down to mine......
:o:o:o walking very silly like :o:o:o but made it :)

Wet here also & I have bedding that needs drying :( draped over doors at the moment :)

Need to go into town - Bestest ♥
Hope your foot is feeling better x

If that's the co-codamol, yes they have that affect on me too. Great for sleeping but be careful when driving. I had sooo many near misses when taking them. I take Ibuprofen during the day now and just use the co-codamol for evening use or for when not driving.

Incidentally, I recently had a blood test which showed I was a bit low in Vit D. So the dr prescribed some vit d tabs and Ive been taking them about a month now and notice the aches and pains are less now, so not taking so many painkillers. . Another avenue to explore maybe .

I will take note about the tablets , cant see im short on vit D but one to explore;)
