You can usually get better value elsewhere, e.g. http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/124035/rb/0 500GB for £70.
Or http://www.ebuyer.com/product/128465/product_info/rb/0 - Western Digital is better known than Iomega.
Easy to install and use - just plug into a spare USB port.0 -
Is it new or a return ? It is very good value and will self install when connected. It will show in your control panel as a new drive.0

https://www.svp.co.uk, they have Freecom classic 500GB HDD's for 69 pounds I think.0

SVP you have to pay delivery which on amazon etc you don't have too.0 -
and you actually need two of these to backup as they'll definitely eventually fail (only a matter of when) and 500GB of data is quite a big loss when it happens.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0
