Thomas Cook Cyprus Flight Delay Oct 2012

Options
Just a quick note of encouragement to say that we have just used the MSE Resolver tool to successfully claim compensation from Thomas Cook in respect of a 6 hours delay in holiday flights (party of 4) to Cyprus back in October 2102. I originally submitted a complaint myself in October 2012, which included other serious issues relating to the holiday, which was unresolved after 3 months, with Thomas Cook just stringing me along. At the time Thomas Cook said they had fulfilled their obligations under EU Regulation 261/2004. I recently read about the court cases and the EU regulation in more detail and submitted a new complaint using the Resolver tool. After 19 days I had no response so I escalated the case using the online tool, and got a response the following day. Another 13 days and few emails later, after just 32 days of originally submitting my complaint , Thomas Cook have have apologised and now confirmed in writing that I have a valid complaint under Reg 261/2004 and they will be paying in full direct to my bank account.
