    Hi everyone:hello:
Hoping to join in this week (if that's ok!) Been really slack ever since May when I had to take time out to build my new office (real grown up stuff at the works rather than in the house:D ) the idea was to seperate work and home and everything would take it's turn and run smoothly - ummmm just seem to have created two areas of chaos instead of one!:o
So the kids start secondary school tomorrow and I should have 1 whole hour before I trudge across to "work" and I am absolutley determined that nothing will stop me returning at 3 pm and being the perfect housewife. Well that's the plan anyway!
    So 1st thing
    dw/kitchen sides
washing out & wm back on
our bedding changed & washed & bed made
5 mins in every room (scary I used to do it in less and now I don't think I could make a difference in half an hour)

tea - girls have requested mince and dumplings

and somewhere in between as much as possible of pigpen's list:-
    Level One
    Clean floors,
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
15 minute fling and tidy in that junk drawer in the kitchen.. get rid of all that stuff you put in there for ‘later’ .. mind those prehistoric mousetraps!! ;)

    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wash the washer drawer out if it is icky, check filters too!!
    • 30 minutes ironing!!! I KNOW you’ll love me for that one!
    • Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
I also need to sort accounts for school fund
find drill and then put together DD1's shelving
find desk in house office so DD's can use it for homework
    book hair appointment

Not really sure how much I'm going to achieve but hoping whatever gets done will make a difference.

Oh and I actually have very little ironing at the moment but that's probably due to the big pile of washing that needs doing - a prevention is better than cure kinda thing:o

Hi everyone, thanks for taking over Pigpen, I'll be back as soon as I can but I am sure you'll manage to keep these lot under control :rotfl: I can hear the whip carcking from here, you evil person putting ironing, I don't even know where mine is :rotfl: :o

Sunday seems to have gone ok, when we came back he'd gone to bed I think, nothing been done while we were out, will no doubt hear off neighbour if anything happened in the morning.

Maralum try www.adtrader.co.uk for second hand ones aswell, even ebay sometimes get cheap household appliances second hand as collection only, use the search boxes on the left to search within specific radius. My friend recently got a washing machine for £23 which was only 6 month old.

Sexymouse, sounds like you'll be pleased to be out of there, can just imagine landlady as the old battleaxe type as my Dad calls them.

Kscour, Merlot, Peaches, Sproggi, Frugalpie & Johanne welcome :) Pigpen has the golden duster (slacker basher when required :rotfl: ) this week but you're all more than welcome to join us :) I hope you find this thread as helpful and supportive as I do, without these lovely people god knows what state I would have been in, especially over the last week or so.

Sorry only had chance for a quick read, then realised I must get Sonic sorted inc fed etc then get to bed as I have to have DS1 on his bus at 8am, so will read through the rest when I can.

Hope you all have a good Monday :) Hugs to anyone who needs one.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi all I'm back on the bang wagon, school holidays are over and I did stay on top of the house work, but really need to get back that deep clean feeling, so level 3 for me all week and all the extra tasks!!!
Also starting diet today so need to not eat and burn calories.

What I really need is a diet fly lady, where the meals are planned for me and I have to eat whats posted that day, I might stick to it then, as normally thinking about what to eat makes me hungry!

I'm going to have to pass on some of the jobs today - I've had an allergic reaction to my new rubber gloves :o The backs of my hands have what looks like burns over the back of them and some of them have blisters as well  I can't even put my hands in my pockets. So it's a case of I'll see what I can do but if it hurts or involves water then no chance! At least not until my hands have calmed down!

Going to go for a long walk this morning as I cut my exercise level over the weekend so I could spend time with OH and DD. So, off for my walk via the school run...
