Hi all, so nice to see this thread up and running again! I've just caught up on the last year and a half's worth of posts - lots to catch up on! Sounds like it's new thread time, Dinah!
Have you pointed out the perks of being employed to her? Sometimes it's so much easier to see the top line without thinking of the rest.
My car's been in for it's MOT but should "only" be around the £150 mark 🤞 We've been tight with our budget this month to pay the maximum off our debts so we'll only have a few £ in the bank and £30ish in cash but we'll be fine. We do keep a £1500 float in our bank, so it isn't like we're really running on £0 (our bank is the one that had the big fudge up earlier this year so we get a 5% return on that :T)0 -
The idea of starting a new thread feels so massive I'm struggling to post!
Need to make some bigger payments out of the business in the next few days, but money won't be in there until next week so going to have to do it as personal and then reimburse next week.
Big payments we need to make are
Business
£288 - business rent
£897.50 - contractor invoice
£497 - truck payment
£550 website first payment
£400 rigging kit
personal
£600ish flights
£600ish car hire
£300ish car insurance renewal
??? Accommodation
Business already owes me about £3k, which I should be able to draw in December as well as these expenses. I've got a grant I need to find time to get quotes for as that will pay 1/3 of eligible costs for the next 10 months.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

£60.80 in the account today from selling some baby things at the nearly new sale a few weeks ago. Is this in any way offsetting buying a gorgeous £12 baby dress in Cath Kidston on black Friday? I'm not pregnant. We have no decision made if we're having any more children. If we do that child may not be a girl or born at the right time of year to wear said gorgeous baby dress. I need help.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It’s been so long since I logged in I’d forgotten my password.
Where did we all vanish to? Where is everyone?
Thinking of this thread yesterday as we had to unexpectedly scrap and replace my car and our debt is astronomical 😭 we’re cracking down now and I wondered if anyone was still posting!0 -

Hope you and your family are well CMD
Our new loan is at 20k. Two new (well, to us) cars, a broken fridge and just generally being a little lazy with things has worn us in. I'm thinking of starting a diary, I'm tired of being in the same darn cycle!0 -
I didn't used post often (no kids or creativity!) but I loved reading about all your successes and ideas. you were all so resilient and inspiring. Brilliant to read about Kavics XX
I hope everyone is doing well and you all come back and post.Nevertheless she persisted.0
