I'll try and keep this simple, but after some help in what my next steps are please.

I have 3 phones on my account with Vodafone. 2 HTC's and 1 iPhone. The two HTCs were due an upgrade in December but due to liking the phone we only just upgraded at the end of May.

I called up and wanted the HTC A9, got talked into getting the Samsung S7 for both phones and accepted the tarrif. Both phones were to come the next day.

Only one phone came, I called up and the 2nd would arrive a couple of days later due to an error.

I didn't like the Samsung so called back up and was told I could exchange it for the A9, someone would come and pick up the Samsung and drop off the A9. No one came.

I kept calling up and was passed to department to department, eventually after a little over a week they believed I had the Samsung (I was told repeatedly I didn't have it as they hadn't sent it out.) and arranged a swap.

Again no one called. 3 weeks passed of calls and online chat, I even went into the store and they said they couldn't help but did put a note on my file that I did have the Samsung as they could see it in my hand.

I emailed the CEO and that prompted a call from his office to say they would arrange for the Samsung to be collected last Friday, but due to my account being on an 'old system' they would have to manually put through the order for my replacement A9.

Sure enough the guy came and collected the Samsung. I was due the A9 on Monday, no phone came. I called and after being on hold for about an hour, got nowhere.

I called again yesterday to be told I couldn't upgrade for another 2 years as I had just upgraded, she then hung up.

I went on online chat and the person I was speaking to said 'wow incredible' when I explained what had gone on, but they still couldn't help me.

I went into the shop last night, they said they would phone through and get confirmation the phone had been returned, do 'something' with my account and do the upgrade there and then. I was in the store for an hour when they had to apologise but the department they were calling had gone home.

Does anyone know anything else I can try. I don't want to cancel my direct debit as I don't want it held against me, my hubby is happy with the Samsung he got as an upgrade.

I just want my tarrif off the Samsung tariff and my new phone delivered.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

Cant advise you on the situation but in future look at buying a phone outright and going sim only.
