Can't believe you have had a diary since last year and I was still subscribed to the old one!!!

Saw you commenting on some threads and stalked you and found this diary!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy - I think the early stages are always about tiredness and then after a few weeks you should feel less tired until nearer the end although with the amount you do every day maybe its your bodies way of telling you to slow down!!

I've been abit AWOL of late, just life and abit of ostrict head in sand going on :o Hoping posting again will give me the motivation to stay on track and get back in to good habits!

tThank you EE, I'm still rather shocked I think, not sure it has sunk in yet. I have had a few lazy sofa days not doing much as I am so tired but also I'm freezing cold!

How are you getting on? must be about time for you to get some more piggies?!

Congratulations Mrs H, wonderful news, I hope that you soon begin to feel less tired and don't have sickness this time.

Ticking over OK here, had some nice hollibobs in the caravan and beginning to have a little more energy, so am able to cook properly more and begin to reclaim my garden from the weeds. Got some new medication for the pesky joints pending referral to Rheumatologist and even managed a couple of rows knitting for the first time in months

    Take care

It is a pattern that a couple of the "girls" from K&N did and looks a bit like this one and in similar colours. I have an enormous stash of yarn, much high quality that I bought while I was still working to be used in my retirement when I had less disposable income. Illness, painful joints and loss of confidence in my abilities meant that it sits there in boxes, if I can make a decent job of the hats I will knit a few for some of the animal charities I support.

Yesterday was a quiet expensive but productive day I feel, Ordered Missy H's uniform, blazer, jumper and tie £60:eek: and not because she has out grown her old uniform but because someone decided it would be great for key stage 4 to wear a difference colour  shirts bought from asda £12 so just trousers to go, thankfully her pe kit still fits and shes not long had new trainers but she will need some new boots, have rang orthotics and we are on the waiting list..... she has requested we get some DM's too this year so will have a day out to the factory outlet they have.

Nipped to Mr T's to get some fridge bits, birthday card for master H's friend and came away having spent £75  did buy some storage tubs for pack lunches, Missy H's has actually broken hers and it was almost the same price to buy a pack of 3 then just 1 so have stashed the others for later in the year.

Paid for Superman's swimming lessons he is on a 1:1 so it's pricey :( but worth every penny to know he learning a very important skill whilst having fun.

DD money tranfered ready for Tuesdays bills, cash with drawn and enveloped up for the hobbies/scout fees/dance classes etc.... bank not empty but not far off either :rotfl:

Home made Sausage rolls and cheese straws made this morning, normal and free from ones, no really saving cost wise on the normal ones - possibly even more costly then a shop bought pack of 10 but it gave superman something to do and they taste far better! The real saving is on Missy H's FF ones, I worked out the batch we made 8 Sausage rolls and 6 cheese strings for £4ish a box of 2 sausage rolls frozen are £1.99 alone :money:

Everytime I suggest a park visit the heavens open and everything gets wet! The weather app is showing some sunshine fingers crossed the for coming week, picnic and a climb at the local nature park with friends is on the cards tomorrow!

    How's everyone else doing?

It's a pj kinda day today in the house of Hinge, the living room resembles a lego shop and I am catching up on lastnights holby whilst kniting a rather cute cable cardi for the hitch hiker. Hoping to build a stash of various different sized cardigans/hoodies/blankets out of the small stash of wool I have left, I started in 2016 on a wool buying ban and I am almost out :o

I bakes a tea loaf yesterday, I don't have many happy memories from child hood but I do remember the mammouth baking sessions twice a year each with 20 x 2lb loafs we would do for xmas and the summer holidays. This was a bbc food recipe and apart from been a bit blackened on the top  it tastes amazing. I have some fruit soaking for another loaf to take on my camping trip with thegirls this weekend.

Yesterday Missy H had a hospital check up, all good, no changes, carry on as we are..... oh and shes grown 4 cms in 5 weeks  no wonder she needs new school trousers!

May make some Veggie soup, I have fridge gravel to use up and even though it is the summer holidays it is wet, cold and miserble here!

Refund requested for a present we bought missy H for camping, its faulty and out of stock :( will pick up a different version of it in sainsburys tomorrow if they have any left as saw some reduced earlier in the week. Will look for a present for master H's friend too as it's his party this weekend.

£12 tesco vouchers arrived today, will set them to one side and decide how best to use them. we usualy save for the summer holidays but it's getting harder to find places to spend them locally as we've been there!...done that! on most of them. Maybe a baby clothes fund? we cleared all ours out when we moved house :o
