Sorry to hear about the black cloud, though it’s perfectly understandable. Glad you feel you are coming out the other side, but shout if you need to rant at anyone.
Hope the boys feel better soon. I get the whole teenager pushing buttons things. My DS1 seems to be making it his sole purpose in life to make me mad or sadXx

Missy H is back from camp, the leader couldn't praise her enough about how helpful she is, cleaning the kitchen, washing up...... i commented it's a shame she doesnt think to clean her bedroom :rotfl:he was shocked when she snarled my head off and stropped off to the car. Jekyl and hyde thats for sure!
Have had a fb selling day today, firework tickets we can't use/supermans old bikes/tag alongs/knex/rollerskates/dresses that are now 5 sizes too big....£75 most of the cash is the kids but the cash that isnt has gone towards Mr H's credit card. Slowly but surely! Have a few things collected in a box to list on ebay over the next few days.
I saved us some cash by cleaning some silver jewelry today with a method found online, boiling water, salt, bicarb and tin foil! looks as good as new, it's unworn so will probably find it's way on the selling pages too!
Superman has inherited Missy H's bike as he has out grown his - he barely rides it and has only just over summer managed to ride with out stabilizers. The problem being is the pink frame doesn't suit him  I found some jazzy tape and he now has a bike that isn't pinkdoes that make me a cheap skate?! he has had 2 brand new bikes that have been out grown with very little use.....
I did wrap the christmas presents yesterday  Missy H is finished but master H and Superman need their "main" presents stills. we don't really buy for anyone else, a few bottles of booze and a box or 2 of biscuits and we will thankfully be finished!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

A busy week with school prep for christmas fair, house decluttering and job application forms  The perfect for me job has come up very close to home - fingers crossed guys that they like me and give it to me!!
More items listed on Fb selling pages, some interest.... may end up on ebay! My car is cleared and awaiting collection by the scrap people. it's Sorn and I've cancelled my insurance so that saves £70 a month for now!
I've decided next year to reduce the amount of charity work I have been doing, this time of year the house is fit to bursting with donations for school fairs, homeless, premature babies and the animal shelter. All things are collected/saved all year long and not overly costly maybe £250-300 a year BUT it is taking over the house of Hinge and this year I've realised just how time consuming it all is. I think as a compromise I will gift my time only and limit to a few events a year.
My wool stash is almost used up, The bits I have left are all "spoken" for with projects in mind. I plan to enjoy my crafting time as a choice rather than I'm working to an event deadline and things need finishing. Who knows I may get in to the making for paid orders once I find my mojo for it again.
Lots of banking admin going on, I've cancelled some old DD's mainly car related and set up all hobbies as a "payee" on my banking app to avoid having to scrabble around for cash every month. Should save me some ££ as any cash usually gets eaten up on junk
things to do this week:- I need to cancel my gym membership as I haven't been in months. Walking and home HIIT work outs will be more beneficial to me in the meanwhile anyway, should save £25 a month.
- list items on ebay
- think of away to decline the handful of christmas meals I have been invited too
most are very costly and none are very SW friendly!
The little Hinges are bathed, fed, watered and watching a movie whilst snuggled on the sofa!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Congratulations on the new job.
I would recommend telling everyone on the same day so Income Support and Housing Benefit together as IS will tell HB but it could take a while so better to come from you.
You may get a 4 week extended payment of HB if you have been on IS more than 26 weeks.
Once HB is suspended and they wait for info on your wages etc where wont be any payments made so make sure your rent is covered.
Not sure if you claim Carers, if you do let them know - I think you can tell Carers online now. You can earn up to £116 per week and still get Carers Allowance.
Don't forget to call Tax Credits - Tax Credits will be the quickest to get sorted out as all done in one phone call and at least the payments continue while the system assesses your claim.
If you are going to be earning quite a but then you may not get much Tax Credits between now and April or even none at all as they don't award on a weekly basis like IS or HB, they do it yearly so the period on IS is over ridden by the period of working and the income from that.0 -
:j:j Thanks MM (How are you after your fall? healing well I hope? xx)
EE, Thanks for your post..... I will be working 22hrs a week so will still qualify for tax credits, and working tax, carers allowence will stop for me as I'll be over the £116 but Mr H will continue. I read about the 4 week run and and I believe we are entitled to that, I also beleive i cant tell them until I am actually at work so start day phone calls it is. Work will do me a letter for HB with my hours of work and wage to keep them content until they get my wage slips as its monthly pay.......last time our claim was suspended I went to the offices with all the info and they processed it and had it sorted in 48hrs so fingers crossed we can do the same
I think that is everything
Hope you are well EE xxxLiving in a superhero induced haze :A:A
