My car has bitten the dust, its scrap
The iron has just blown up and frazzled one of missy H's school shirts, the not very old ironing board cover is knackered too. I caught my pendant in my hair and snapped the chain..... should of stayed in bed today. Instead I've just sobbed myself in to an oblivion. The school uniforms all need ironing for monday and i have no crumple free tshirts/tops left to wear either. No spare money to replace it this week either, spent £40.31 in Aldi this morning for the weeks essentials, which means petrol budget had to be reduced by £5.... wednesday school run maybe done on fumes at this rate  The microwave is on it's last legs and Some how I have to conjour up a birthday present for a party that Superman is going to tomorrow too
I don't feel like I want to adult today
My car wont be too much of a problem in all honesty, recently it only moves one hour a week and thats for supermans saturday morning hobby as Master H's hobby is 7miles away in another direction! It costs £65 pcm for insurance and tax plus fuel and yearly mot/repairs so not really value for money, we will muddle on with just Mr H's car, Superman and I walked the 40minutes to dance class this morning and it was fine, In the rain it maybe a different matter but it is what it is. Mr H collected us on his the way home, he wasn't overly keen on waiting whilst I raced around Aldi but when it's on the way and saves prescious fuel needs must.
I feel like I am failing, I get to this point in the month every month and it is the same over and over. Skinter than a skint thing from skintsville. It's more a cash flow problem than a over spending issue but stillI think it's time I start planning going back to work, we can't keep scraping by like this, only way is to up the income.
I have made a big pan for leek and tattie soup and a pan full of bolagnaise sauce, which will make spag bol. lasange and freeze the rest for another meal. I have baked some cookies and have a batch of "dough" in the fridge for pack ups. Will make some fairy cakes, flapjacks and some of twinks biscuits too.
Have text the mum from school I was meant to meet on tuesday for a coffee date with an excuse to rearrangeI simply haven't the money, I would invite her here but Mr H isn't happy with people in the house, Plus I would run round tidying up

Oh my dear Mrs H what a horrid time you are going through, a bucket of virtual hugs winging it's way to you.
You are not failing, you are having a nasty blip, "You did good Kidda!" - you really have and don't you forget it.

Maddiemay this made me cry, it is timed perfectly. I just have to keep plodding on, I do feel brighter today. Mr H having seen my blubbering meltdown yesterday used some of his birthday money that he's been saving to buy me a new iron so the little hinges and I will not be walking around like crumpled messes. He maybe rubbish at this emotional stuff but he sure takes care of the practical stuff.
How are you following your fall MM? not too sore I hope?Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Well done Mr H, you sound a good team.
After 10 days of wet wipe washes and dry shampoo (like camping in the old days) I managed a shower and hair wash and today managed to dress in a tunic which does not have buttons or a zip, I have been wearing some really odd looking layers, thank goodness for front fastening things.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Aw Hun, I'm having a few tears for you! So sorry it's all piling on top of you at the moment, and hope you can have a bit of chill out time tomorrow when the little Hinges are back at school.

 3.5lbs off at fat club yesterday :j:j
picked up some bargain halloween decorations in sainsburys for 30p yesterday! They have been stashed away in the loft for next year. Halloween was uneventful - we dressed up and answered the door to the handful of trick or treaters. They enjoyed the school disco although Master H has no voice left and appears to have a stonking cold brewing. Pjs and sofa snuggles today!
Shopping and spending occurred in primark buying chrimbo pjs and new winter coats of the little Hinges this week. They look so cozy and the weather has turned bitter cold!
Dashed in to aldi this morning to stock up the bare fridge, cupboards were rather sparse too- makes me jittery! £83 later and we are good to go another week. The man behind me muttered something about how I must be glad that I don't have to go shopping every weekI told him this was a week :eek: We don't eat huges amounts but we eat proper home cooked fresh food and I don't think it's a unreasonable amount, would be double that anywhere else!
Missy H is away with Scouts this weekend, I think master H will be too poorly for gym so a quiet weekend with just superman to ferry around his hobbies!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

I have been in a big black cloud Lucky but thankfully feel like I'm coming out the other side now!
Master H and Superman have the lurgey, master H is even too poorly for PS4 so he must be feeling rotten. Superman is just exhausted, sleep is really troubling him at the moment topped with low iron levels he's running on empty. The letter that came with his blood results included a list of food to eat to help the iron meds and apart from 2 items he wont touch the restback to plenty of fresh Oj and vit C at meal times I think.
Missy H is away at camp, I haven't heard a peak out of her since I left her yesterday, despite house rules of a bedtime and morning text to "check in" I feel like we are clashing so much at the moment and she is purposely punishing me. The attitude she gives me is unreal and she makes a big deal and goes out of her way to please Mr H. Teenagers hey!
I'm having a baking, cooking and cleaning day today, the washer is on, the kitchen is cleaned and the bathroom has had enough bleach slung at it it smells like a bleach factoryI have twinks and fairy cakes to bake, coleslaw to shred and probably some soup to make too....
Hoping for a NSD today nothing needed and we are not leaving the house of hinge...... although the [STRIKE]window[/STRIKE] glass cleaner  hasn't been for his money since he supposedly did the windows last. the cash has been on the side waiting for him for 2 weeks so surely thats already accounted for?Mr H will be telling him his services are no longer required due to his inability to actually clean the whole window and not just the glass pane
