Hello Folks'
We have found in our attic an old video camera that we used about 14 years ago.
There are cassettes with family holidays that we would like naturally to save, the camera is in working order, so could some kind person suggest how best to download theses 'keepsakes' please onto our computer?
The camera is a: Sharp VIEWCAM VL-SD20S
Thank you kindly...

Browntoa and Chino - Many thanks to you both for your input...
...I can now recover cassette tapes found in our loft that I thought was lost for ever.
Kind regards.0 -
That Ebay listing appears to be for a USB to USB cable whereas the OP's camera appears to have an IEEE 1394 port ("http://www.manualslib.com/manual/524972/Sharp-Viewcam-Vl-Sd20s.html?page=70#manual").

Good Afternoon...
...I have received the IEEE 1394 to USB Cable and Windows 10 does not recognise this USB Cable, so I need the Driver(s) so Google put me onto a site called Driver Agent and it wants me to register etc in order to d/load the drivers for my Sharp VL-SD20 Digital Viewcam ;
I really don't want to get into contracts etc unless this site recommends me to do.
Advice please.

ask the ebayer for a refund, install a firewire card into your pc, checking first that it supports your operating system, buy a firewire to firewire cable with ends that match the camera and card, use windows movie maker or similar to capture the video. usb to firewire video capture devices are available, but they usually cost significantly more than a firewire card.
alternatively if you aren't bothered about quality, there are many composite to usb capture devices available - ezcap etcDon't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0 -
