Stuff your wallet with tin foil or buy an RFID wallet.

Why is it you don't want contactless OP ?

I have used contactless for many years, using it overseas before it was available in the UK.

That said, I would very much prefer to have it as an option. This would make travelling on public transport in London easier - I could keep my cards together and know there is no chance of "card clash". As it is, the card I'm using for travelling must be kept separate or taken out of my wallet each time I present it.

There are RFID protection wallets that have a travel card slot so that you can scan your travel card without taking it out of the wallet and no card clash as all other cards will be inside the protection section.

Why don't you just buy a cheapy travelcard wallet (they used to be free from TFL stations but don't think that's the case anymore) and that way you won't have to keep taking your card out of your wallet every time you touch in/out.

That's interesting, I've been looking for something like this with no luck. Care to share an example?

Have seen a few, such as this one on ebay
The NERO wallet 4+1 version has one of the two side pockets without the RFID blocking feature. In this way, one could use his bus, subway or train card without taking them out of the wallet while having his credit cards protected at all time. In short, 4 pockets will be RFID protected and one will be unprotected allowing RFID to pass through. The unprotected pocket is situated on the outer side above the NERO wallet emblem inside pocket, thus making it easy to recognize and use.

Yep that's what I do. It's just would be handier if I didn't have to do that. One more thing to forget - keys, wallet, phone, travelcard wallet, etc.

Suppose I could mess around with the NFC facility on my phone....
