Currently with VM, but moving to an area with no coverage?

Hello Friends
I am currently with Virgin Media. I have been with them for many years. I am currently house hunting and I've found a property that I like.
I've checked the address on VM's website, and they do not cover that area.
What should happen? I do not want to cancel my service, but I have no choice as they do not cover the area I'm moving to. Will there be charges?
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

If you are within you minimum term there will be early termination charges. You may have recontracted when you changed your package within the last 12/18 months so it is worth checking your paperwork.
I was out of contract when I terminated my VM service and there was a cease charge applied to the account - from memory it was around £20.0 -
My contract was renewed a couple of months back. So I guess there'll be money to payOnly Student Loans to get rid off (Plan 1)0

There will be a charge if you are within you minimum term, there are lots of threads about thisWhat happens if you push this button?0

Yep, you're the one wishing to terminate the agreement so penalty charges will be raised I'm afraid.0

Hi,
I have recently been in the same situation. I explained to the customer service agent that I was disappointed that after many years of loyalty they were charging me fees. I was calm and polite to the agent and they agreed to waive my fees. (I have been with VM for a very long time. I started off as an NTL customer).
Good Luck!0 -
It might be worth your time (and getting your neighbours involved) for their Cable my Street:

Granted it might take some time/never happen but I'd imagine if there's enough demand you'll be able to "enjoy" their services again in the future? It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
