Flight changes imposed by airline

I have a return flight booked in December with Iberia.

I got a message to say that they had had to change the timing of the return flight by 20 minutes. When I log in to my booking there are Confirm and Reject buttons.

Has this effectively turned my flight into a flexible one? Can I just sit on it indefinitely and if I find a cheaper flight closer to the time, cancel this booking for a full refund and re-book?

I can't find anything in Iberia's site about what happens if I press Reject, nor whether I have a time limit to decide.

Iberia will want a response from you eventually. Not sure exactly how it works with them but I doubt they'll ignore it for months.

I recently had a flight moved quite significantly with flybe. I got an email like you where I had to follow a link to accept or cancel. I left it and after a week or so and had a second email reminding me I needed to review my booking. At this point I'd considered my options so accepted the change.

I got the impression they'd have been follow up though if is not answered. I imagine the system is automated to begin with and you'll get follow up emails. My guess is that after a set time it'll flag up in an airlines system and they'll make alternative attempts to contact you? Probably by phone?

How long this will take for any given airline I don't know though. And for 20 minutes I'm surprised you have an option and they didn't just email to tell you.

The question seems to be - what will happen if the 'Reject' button is pressed? Full refund, no refund, or...?

Perhaps it depends on the period of time change involved, and it's the same automated notice sent for any change so it does not specify the result, but there should be some way of discovering the relevant terms.
