Oooooo that sounds worth sampling as G&B bars are around £1.50 each, but well worth it"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

For years I used Ariel washing powder blocks and then liquid in a bubble. Trying to reduce my shopping bill I tried cheaper alternatives- Daz, Bold, supermarkets own brands and they never seemed to clean the clothes as well as Ariel. Even my husband complained!
My best friend introduced me to Aldi/Lidl- I had to be dragged there like a horse to water!
Now there is no going back for me.
I always buy their own brand washing powder, large packs - one of them is W5 colour and they are excellent. I always use a cup and for those items that have been only worn once I now use half a cup of powder, for heavier stains I use a full cup. I save money and do my bit for the environment!0 -
Cariad - have you noticed how W5, when it's washing, has that "old fashioned laundry" type of smell? Takes me right back to my childhood!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We got a packet of the chocolate brownie cookies from Aldi on Saturday and they had gone within minutes - they are the nicest biscuits ever! And really cheap for how nice they are. We do like our Aldi biscuits, especially the Choco Leibniz knock-off which taste exactly the same for half the price.0
