Sending tx abroad with virgin mobile

I have a 30 days sim with virgin and get free txs and calls every month. Does anybody know if I send a tx to a friend with a uk sim abroad will it come from my allowance or do I need to pay extra? Thanks

    I would imagine it would cost as your using a foreign network.

    No, the receiving phone is using the foreign network and will pay. Roaming charges.

    Free texts to send to uk phone and receive is free even when roaming. Not calls

    As ballyblack said - You are sending to a UK phone regardless of where ever in the world the phone happens to be located. So, it does not cost you extra. Also, receiving incoming text is always free, even while roaming. So, it does not cost the recipient extra to receive the text.
