Withdraw at the hole in the wall and pay for items in cash. Do NOT spend in a shop on your Halifax Clarity Credit card as they charge you a % of the spend.
I have learned the right way to do things as I have been charged for spends on card in shops!

Post office or clarity
Having said that I use the PO for spending in shops, hotels etc and clarity for withdrawing cash0 -

This is rubbish - Halifax most definitely do not charge a % of the spend, using the card for purchases is the cheapest way to use it.0 -
If you need to draw money out,find a Santander ATM. I used one in New York and never got charged.0
