Hardship...would i qualify

I've been with my current employer since just before Xmas. When I first started I was weekly paid but after some consideration decided to go monthly. They offered me £300 bridging loan and to date I've paid back £100. I was paid on Friday and it turned out that for some reason they decided to take £400 from my pay leaving me with just over £1000 to take home.
Also not been paid for quite a bit of overtime....
I've just checked my account and I've nothing left :eek::eek:
I was supposed to get it back today but due to a technical issue it will now be tomorrow!! :mad:
So due to this I've decided to contact Lloyds and see if I this qualifies as hardship.
Probably won’t get anything but It’s worth a try.
Also has anyone had any dealings with Step Change as I've been thinking of contacting them but well to be hones I’m a little scared as I’m not sure what will happen....

So your employer lent you £300, you've paid back £100 so owe them £200 but they have deducted £400? It will be paid today so you were only out of pocket for 2 days?
Qualifies for hardship for what, are you trying to claim charges back or something?
You mention Stepchange, why would you contact them, do you have other debts?
To be honest, your post doesn't make a lot of sense and I'm not really sure what your issue is.

I doubt the bank would respond quickly enough for this and certainly it wouldn't be classed as a "hardship" case if your employer is about to pay you the money outstanding.
However, if you regularly find yourself with no money half way through the month, then you might be wise to post your complete Statement Of Affairs (SOA) on the "Debtfreewannabe" board of this forum. There are people there well versed in advising about debt and escaping from it..

EDIT;
I see you've claimed back Bank Charges in the past. The Bank isn't likely to oblige again

It seems to me that you were paid at the end of last week & had £1000. You now have nothing left. The £200 or so you presumably expect to be refunded isn't a lot to last the rest of the month & is therefore probably not the issue here.
I think you'd therefore be well advised to contact either step change, National debtline or your local CAB who will help you assess your incomings, outgoings and debts & having done so then hopefully reach a realistic solution to any problems.
For an idea of what would happen / how they operate see http://www.stepchange.org/ https://www.nationaldebtline.org/ https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ or they also have reps. on here who may perhaps pop along & offer some thoughts.
Good luck0
