Epic skipping catch up post for me. I've been missing for a few days. If it'll spoil your lovely morning catch up.....skip past :)

    in no particular order.....

Rhos, glad you are on the mend and even gladder your grandchildren paid a visit. That mustve helped loads. Our Di can stop worrying now that she was the cause of your absence :o:p

AJ....pleurisy  you are lucky to be at home. I had it a couple of years back and was hospitalised. please make sure you don't end up there!! Listen to Mr AJ and rest when you are told.

Not been around much but some delightful people I have met here and keep in touch with in other ways truly keep me going :D

I've had the most fascinating referendum conversations from someone I usually talk to about eyebrows, handbags and shoes.

A bloomin good conversation tonight with someone who I don't keep in touch with as often as I should because I don't think I need people (thank you :heart2:) and they are on my doorstep.

Someone I can talk to about my treatment who doesn't get bored halfway through me talking :heart2:

Two Scottish burds who have been truly amazing friends to me and who have my permission to write a book of my rants when I'm gone. They have the most amazing and undelicate :o ears :D

A truly humble woman who has taken time out from her own grief to show me what humility really is :heart2:

And some weird bloke in a kilt that makes me laugh and takes the total pee out of me :o :grouphug:

And frequent....who needs no explanation :D :smileyhea

No, this place isn't what it once was. I feel lucky that I came across it at its very best and I still benefit from that now.

I'm very sorry that Savvy didn't get his lists in. My feeling is he will adapt and that makes him what he is. Thing is that's what stuck in people's minds. The important stuff. Not the 5 minutes of fame/annoyance that will be gone by the end of the thread.

I'm busy, tired and ill all at the same time at the moment and I'm going back to my hole. Just think about what's important.

    :D

Nice to finally catch up up FC , keep pushing on girl, giving it all you've got. A grand team around you works well and keeps you grounded.
Yes, Pleurisy and chest infection for me , almost had to go to hospital but doc that was called out on Sunday said bed rest and lay on the side that hurts, yes sir, I obey  still, it does not help with sleep and here I am still awake at 4.40am

Not a problem at all - what's all this "adapt" rubbish?:rotfl::rotfl:

No, I didn't need the thread to wait for me - it would well have lasted until I got here, but, not to worry, I half-expected that a new thread would be started whilst I was away so was not surprised at all when I got back - the thread is wherever it's at when I get here, that's that, and at least I've managed to get a round number (150) for my list!

I notice now that it was started almost straight after I left this morning. Unfortunately I was already about to run a bit later than I'd have liked and I had to leave right then - anyway, it would have taken me a while to move all of the posts of my list onto here and I would certainly not have had time to complete the planned Ms today. As it was, I managed all I had planned (just about:rotfl:) and so all is well!:) I've even managed to see all the items I really needed to see:rotfl:. (I knew I would not get those Gino's world food items again - even if I got them all last time and I think I probably did not!:rotfl: - and the shampoos that seem to be rare - I still have no Twarogs or Morliny Pork Turkey but they are in my local stores and online anyway with the offers I expect still on until 26/6, so they weren't essentials to see today. I've lost one item that I'm not too concerned about - and nearly:D lost another but managed to have my final store come up with it - I thought it's offer was due to end about now and would have deleted it on that assumption - it's not online and I've found it's offer has been extended, so all good as I didn't lose it but my final store had it!:rotfl::rotfl::T)

    Morning savvy:)
Glad to see you weren't worried about the new thread starting and had expected it:)

I think this would have read better if I had posted it immediately on my return, but, anyway, I did not as I have only got around to writing it now!

Alright, you can stop the clock - I now have the Glaceau Smartwater!:j:D:rotfl: I found it in the final store having gone through five all day with no trace. I won't scare you by mentioning other items that waited five or six stores before there was any trace (and then were in just one store)!

In fact I might mention one set: the Crosse & Blackwell soups on RTC. I think the APG might well have had all of them last week, but I reckon from Monday's collection, each of them has a somewhat less than 50% chance of being picked up. I think these soups in M are very bitty now. On Wednesday, I had what I believe was a complete set of them: two stores out of five gave me a complete set in each. Now, I have just one store with any of them and it doesn't have all of them. In fact, I have just one version now with SEL (and stock) although there are two different ones in stock in the store. There will be more elsewhere - whilst I have flavour A and B with stock but only A with SEL now, I can't imagine that flavour C will have been cleared out from every RTC shelf in another store. And the other flavours randomly in other (now rare) stores. In fact Wrexham might have them all - if it still has full price SEL that it had last Wednesday:rotfl::(.

It was Burton that came up with the Smartwater - although sadly no Fudge Treatsize or Crunchie Treatsize to be seen! They've now got the expensive Crunchie 4 pack like I suspect nearly every other M:rotfl:. However, I still cannot conclude that M does not have the expected-to-be-43p Treatsize packs any longer because, although I now have nearly 100 stores with no trace, I still haven't checked in the other 400:rotfl:. (I'm assuming all other stores where I failed to find them before have still never come back into stock.) Of course, they were simply OOS in Burton yesterday, when I checked, and the SELs removed, but may bring some out today, and may put SELs to them, after I have left:rotfl:. I doubt it. I have the BB date on these items as being the end of July 2016 and I now think they are really gone in M (I managed to work Burton into this trip to check*) but, as ever, the moment I say that, I am bound to find them in a rare store later on and I will have been wrong. I've also not seen any of the 50p Irn Bru (4x500ml cans) since probably February now - they were hanging on in one store and disappeared and I've not seen them anywhere since. I have the BB date on those as being December 2016 - am I going to keep them on the list until then?:rotfl:

Last time I deleted them, someone else reported their existence a few weeks later. I then went through about 20 stores of no trace before coming across them, in a single store, once again. Whilst I'm mentioning BB dates, I think the Dolmio Creamy Tomato that has been £1 in M actually had a BB date of 9 March 2016 - maybe some have longer dates than that? - so may have gone now. I have not seen any on Monday but that doesn't mean some could not be somewhere.

I didn't expect to see the Holland's fresh individual pies on Monday. However, I have got them. Sort of:rotfl:. I had Meat Pie and Cheese & Onion Pie at 50p until 26th June (my eyes obviously went cross-eyed on the date before:rotfl:). I actually had Meat Pie and Steak Pie physically in the store, but the SELs were only for those two:rotfl:. I shouldn't worry too much about this though - as I would think that the APG is getting them from a store in the North West of England which will have them all. I think the pies don't often appear in Staffordshire:rotfl:.

Nonetheless:eek::eek:, the situation at Burton now is consistent with my failure on the Steak Bakes of several months ago. Indeed, on Monday, I had a few stores missing mbuys on the Bakes that I was in doubt as to whether the mbuy offer is still on or not. But - look at the shelf in Burton and you can see! Steak Bakes - the one showing just the £1 price and no mbuy on its SEL. They were actually on mbuy in M as late as last Friday - as I bought some there. I think they probably are still on mbuy - the trouble is no end date is stated on any SEL that I've seen showing it - but I have enough stores still showing it to make me think it's still on.

I was going to say, on the shop that failed against the 10 for £3 Mullers - I've never seen that ever picked up - that it was lucky that the Savers Tomato tins picked up the mbuy. Indeed, I'm seeing quite a few Ms showing no mbuy - even though the 4 for £1 mbuy is on into July - even though the mbuy has been picked up by the APG - and my position from six stores on Monday is a tie: 3 showing it and 3 not and therefore, with me, finely balanced and only just picking it up (as it's the lowest pricing found on a tie).

*Burton was the only place I found them before - quite a while after their RTC had begun.

Ah, but don't walk away looking totally good from it.

Thanks for the new thread - thanks for pulling the rug from underneath me:rotfl::rotfl:.

However, I jest about that: it's turned out right in the end, I know people thought you shouldn't have started a new thread in this way, but I hope, now it has been started, that people can move forward with what we have got: a new thread and, hopefully, later, some nice glitches:D.

Im never going to look totally good as others will let you know:rotfl:
Starting a thread was a lot easier than I expected and I don't see now what all the fuss is about as I thought it would be a lot harder as there has always been so much said by people about it:o
If you want any posts put on the 1st page just let me know :) and a few others who noticed my mistake have reserved a few for you as well. We all live and learn and I sure have and if I ever start a thread again the 1st 10 posts will be reserved for your lists

    Good night Savvy X

    Of course.
I'll probably not mention any more from M [EDIT: he says, in advance of a post of over ten additional paragraphs after this one], as there is quite a lot of updating to be done. Just noticing Always Dailies Single Normal (48) on £2 RTC in M - however is that cheaper than old 77p offer on 20 pack? Was that the one that was on offer? If so then, no, it's slightly dearer - but mentioned in any event.
Right, I had better go - me and my interesting matrices of different items in the six Ms - whilst I'd picked up the other mayonnaise/salad dressing-type products (M own label, Heinz Jalapeno and Pizza Express) earlier, I'd lost the Hellmann's RTC Mayonnaise from four stores last Monday and five completely other ones on Wednesday. I think it's now risking the M price dropping off the APG if it has not already done so - may have gone from all the collection stores. (But then I've searched 20 Ms to no avail for the Broken Basmati Rice and they have that in one of the collection stores:rotfl:.)

I now have the Hellmann's Mayonnaise back - and, yes - but only just - I have both versions. I got the Light Mayonnaise earlier in the day, in a single store, and then, finally, Burton, my final store of the day, came up with just the Real Mayonnaise version.
    :rotfl:

I will go, soon, but, in just one store (I only needed one:rotfl:) I was looking around the Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts cartons and I turned around and, on top of them, was a single carton - I only needed one:D - of Maynard's Sports Mixture (460g):j:T:T:T. So, I managed to get that. There were no 50p price labels around at all.

In another store, I found the Kia Ora!:rotfl::T:D Only one version of them mind you:( - so I still 'don't know' about the other. I found the Orange NAS - they were all there on the shelf. However, I cannot get you a price - they were there without a SEL:rotfl:. It did scan at 50p though, so I can confirm M still had somewhere Kia Ora Orange NAS (2L) available for purchase at 50p yesterday. There were apparently at least two that have gone to 50p - it was reported that "Blackcurrant" - but I think they may mean Mixed Fruit - is 50p and I think they mean it is NAS. So, that would be consistent with what was online months ago (and presumably back then in Leamington but probably gone from there now) - which is Kia Ora Orange NAS (2L) and Kia Ora Mixed Fruit NAS (2L) as being the two that M stock. I am not aware of any Kia Ora Blackcurrant (or Kia Ora Blackcurrant NAS). (So, I can remove the question mark from the Orange Squash NAS version:T. But not from the other version:( as I am still unable to confirm that version - or maybe there is more than one other? - unlikely I think though.)

That said, I am also not aware of whether any Banana version of the Yazoo chilled milk drink (1L) exists. I tried to find if there was - but all I had from the stores was two versions - Chocolate and Strawberry. I could be that I just happened to have the same ones in the stores I visited however. I do not know whether a banana version is even made.

I also tried to find Nestle Princessa Milk Chocolate bar - should that exist in M. I had a brief moment of hope, when a SEL in one store said "Nestle Princessa Milk" - however the stock turned out to be the Coconut version and that was the only one the store had:( - so it seemed I had got even worse than before (just one, no Hazelnut). Another store came up with just Coconut and Hazelnut (the same as I already have elsewhere from another day). Still trying to find Milk Chocolate therefore - or actually I'm not really going out of my way trying to find it - I'm just checking every shelf for whatever is there - and of course if M really don't have Milk Chocolate then I will never find it:rotfl:.

I think I should mention - don't know why at this point - I suspect it's because it was another of those query items for me between stores - that the Jeunesse Cucumber Peel Off/Dead Sea Mud Mask mbuy is off. They are now scanning each at full price.

So, anyway, as an unintended result of doing all this price collecting, I've managed to get the main items - the Kia Ora Orange Squash NAS (I didn't really want Mixed Fruit anyway, as I prefer Orange Squash:cool::T) and the Maynard's Sports Mixture - I wasn't going to go mad and only wanted one carton - and that's what I got - the only one that, it seemed, was on the shelf!:) I think I was very lucky on the Kia Ora - I think it had already gone from most stores even when it was £1. I note there were at least four stores that had it at 50p (out of, like, 500:rotfl:) but, even so, I think it's unlikely many people will have it in their M - especially now that it has probably cleared out of any of those that showed the price and perhaps less likely to come across, like I did, one with no SEL:T.

And, would I have found this myself? To be fair, I think I would - as I tend to look through all aisles of stores that I have never visited before. So, I probably would have seen the Kia Ora, without SEL, and noticing it as an item that I lost from one of my own stores months before, I would have taken it to the till/SS to check whether it was still £1 and would have found out now that it is 50p! So, had the product not already been reported, I would have found it - but, sorry folks, I would have found it only now, late in the day:o:o:rotfl:. So, I'd have been two or three weeks behind - but I probably would have got it!:)

Regarding the Sports Mixture, it's very different to the Licquorice Allsorts cartons:rotfl:. I notice that there are two different pack designs for the Allsorts and, when I was seeing if the Sports Mixture was in one of my local Ms on Friday - and of course I stood no hope whatsoever there as usual:( - I saw the pack designs of the Allsorts but they are both the same BC - so no chance of a glitch or any RTC version:(:(:rotfl:. The Maynards Wine Gums carton is said to be "RTC" as well. However, avoid (IMO) - as it's not a very good "RTC". £2 - and it's the only product, apparently, in the RTC shelf showing on m.com:rotfl::rotfl:.

    See you later!

(Probably just come back and get the list updated later today.)
