Oh alright then:cool:! I was going to say: cue people to be posting about lots of stuff from Morries that I haven't got in any of the stores I checked earlier. But, this one stands to reason that I would not have that!

    Page... 4:rotfl:. M list post 0 of 8

[This one to be edited with a 'welcome' message from me soon.]

EDIT: I think I've already welcomed everyone back below, so I've changed my mind and will probably now witter on below about what's happened from M on Monday anyway:rotfl:.

I now notice I posted one minute after my ETA:rotfl:. In fact I arrived about twenty minutes before, but needed a few minutes to sort myself out having only just walked through the door, and obviously I delayed in pressing the "Post" button:rotfl::rotfl:. I didn't even look at what time it was - obviously I knew it was 11.30 something when I walked in - but, I've arrived, almost on schedule:cool:.

People sometimes get disappointed with my realistic estimates of completion of work etc. I think they tend to prefer other people who are 'most people' who tend to lie and give unrealistic estimates or pretend they can deliver work much sooner than they can (...or, if they are to deliver work that quickly, clearly have cut corners and cannot have done a proper job). With me, people get disappointed because I say, or suggest, it'll be absolutely ages until I'm back - and then I am back, the absolutely ages later that I said I would be, because my estimate was, indeed, realistically how long it would take:cool:. In the end, under-promise and then deliver it almost precisely is probably a better approach than promise what you cannot achieve (for example if I said I'd be likely to be back around 9pm) and then let people down when you don't achieve what you say you will - or your product doesn't achieve what you say it will.

Not to worry - they will never have that in any M near to me. They never do! None there on Sunday and, doubtless, none there on Monday or today - I could try every day in vain but I shall not bother!

However, I did have success on a couple of items in M...:D:D:p
(:rotfl:Again, obviously neither of the items was anywhere to be seen in my nearby Ms - I even visited one of them on Friday as we needed to buy:eek: something and had a look and... nothing, but all I needed to do was be in a different store, turn around and there it was!).

Not much of a changeover in M, some prices going up and other items going onto offer as usual. Some items going onto RTC - the Heinz Jalapeno has gone down further so I will need to update that and I'll give you one - Morrisons Five Beans (405g) has gone down to 20p. WW Spaghetti tin (400g) has also gone to 20p RTC (best of luck with this one - might have the one hit, with stock, out of six stores).

It looks like one of the items I had as going up in price is in fact still "on offer":rotfl:. The Plums punnets (400g) have £1 prices on them, although they scanned at 72p last Wednesday, and every SEL I'm now seeing says £1. I'm now surprised when I go to m.com and find they are apparently on 72p until August. The APG has already returned as M £1 on them - I found only one store, when I used five, on Wednesday that showed that price - and I initially thought that store had not updated its SEL as every other store was saying £1 - I scanned however and they were 72p. I think it's unlikely the APG will change from £1. I've not checked what their actual price in M is now. I used six stores yesterday and found £1 showing in all of them. I think they are probably 72p.

Now that I have that wrong, I have no idea about the rest:rotfl:. However, I think Quorn Mince (300g) and Quorn Chicken Pieces (300g) have gone up in price. I had seen £1.97 SEL on Quorn Mince today and then £1 in the next store. Due to the conflict, I took it to the till and... £1.87:rotfl:. I did come across a £1.87 SEL in a later store*. Quorn Chicken Pieces are apparently £1.97 but were very thin on the ground in my six stores - I saw the product physically in one store only but, by that time, wasn't bothered enough, late in the day, to check at the till. I would never have finished at my last store before closing time had I started doing that. I had SELs in only two stores - both said £1.97, the other store had no stock so could not be physically checked there anyway.

The 20 pack alcohol drinks have gone up. I think Guinness Draught 15 cans pack has gone even worse and I reckon Magners 18 pack has, consistent with the others going up, gone up as well - it seems to £12. I notice msm now has £12 so, indeed, it seems it has - I had an area of doubt before because I've had one of my regular stores showing £12 throughout the £10 offer - other stores, and msm, though previously gave me what I believe to have been the correct price.

The Wine Glasses and Champagne Flutes have gone up to £1.50 - so, take your choice, "£1 RTC", "£1 until 12/6" or 4x "£1.50" - the various opinions that were presented to me by the SELs of my six stores. The 18 piece Mixed Cutlery Set is also £1.50.

I think those are the main price increases - they're be more to mention, or rather put onto the list as I won't get time to mention, as to what's gone on offer later.

I think I have an incorrect price for the CarPlan Slik Wet Tyre Look on my list. I think it may be lower than what I have. I have a SEL of £1.48 on Monday, but no stock in my only store that had any evidence of the product. HTH.

Woohoo - we're cooking on gas! Msm has the Wine Glasses/Champagne Flutes/Mixed Cutlery Set as now with £1.50 price:(, so it looks like I have reached the correct conclusion from my stores.

I never know - I had Fisher Price Chatter Telephone in two of the stores - with £6 SEL in each! It scanned at £1.50:rotfl:. Some Heinz baby food on the RTC shelf in one of the stores scanned at cheaper than what the SEL said and one of the Cow & Gates, priced at £1.47, turned out to be £1!

The Dettol wipes offers appear to have changed over - I've got a couple of the 80 packs going up to £3.97 and two 84 packs now at £2 each. Double woo-hoo:rotfl: - msm agrees with me on all four!:j:rotfl::( (as not v.good prices really!).

*I don't know if I am going to have a product in a further store at all and, sometimes, where I think it's more likely not (as some of the frozen Quorns can occasionally vary - though, to be fair, more stores seem to be stocking a greater range nowadays) I have them checked at the SS/till. Not that I trust the till:rotfl: - as I was once told a product was £1.97 at a time when, I believe, it was still £1 offer (and got £1 labels from other stores later that day, with end dates that I trusted more). I had just one store with the Kellogg's Krave on the Go cereal that has been 40p - all other stores had nothing at all. The SEL in my single store said 96p and it's a good job I had that checked at the till there to find it is still 40p, as my all my stores afterwards were no trace.

On the Boursin, there are a couple of £2.34 SELs out there that I have now seen. Too many in fact that, for a brief period, I thought they were actually £2.34 - I had one store at £1 and two at £2.34 and thought they'd gone up in price - until I reached my next store and £1 offer until July. They are therefore, I believe, £1 in M. It seems the APG stores last time were generally showing £2.34:(. That's probably the same case now, as stores may be like my two - still not changed:(:(. All of my stores, including those two, had the President Brie at £1 (was this reported as full price on the APG earlier or am I confusing things now?).

Who's got the store that has the Crisp N Dry 2L Veg Oil and the Boursin at full price SEL?:(

Speaking of cheese, the Lockerbie Coloured Cheddar that's on my list is still £5/kg. I think there may be some Wyke Mature Cheddar around at £5/kg that is old stock - however I suspect most Ms will only have stock at new £9.18/kg price:(, like all of mine (where I found any now).

The fresh Steak Slices and the Chicken & Bacon Slices will be off I think - I think there's older stock of the Steak Slices in some stores (not marked with a price) which may scan at £1 but stock on new BC is £1.54 and 2 for £2.50. When this happens, the APG always seems to get the higher price:(. I think more stores will have the new pricing - that was my experience: five stores with new pricing and one that just said "PRICED".
