Hi all,

Has anyone who is with EE having problems with internet access on their mobile phones?

I signed up for 4G and until about a month ago it was working fine, at home, at work, basically everywhere. Now it goes from 4G to 3G and then either E, H or G. I have no idea what any of these last 3 letters are apart from being super slow internet access which is very annoying.

When I signed up for my contract, I am sure it was for 4G internet and not E, H or G.

I've tried switching the phone on and off, even put flight mode on and then turned it off as that normally sorts internet problems out but to no avail.

Anyone else having the same problem? If I went to an EE shop, do you think they would do anything for me, like check my settings or something?

You signed up for service on 2G/3G/4G. 4G is not available over the whole country so there will be times will see 2G (G or E) or 3G (H).

If you are not getting 4G in areas you have in the past you should contact 150 or go into an EE store and have them check for possible cell station issues or a handset problem.

OP which model/brand of phone are you using and is the software "up to date"?
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

It's a Samsung Galaxy S6 and everything is up to date.

I think I will do what D123 has said and have it checked at the local EE store. At least they will be able to tell me if my cell phone is battered or not.

    Cheers my dears.
