Problems Taxing car - MOT

Hi, Anyone know what I need to do in this situation. Trying to tax my car but keep getting the vehicle needs an appropriate MOT certificate. I am sitting here with my MOT certificate that was issued end of January 2016 so 5 months ago. I am trying to pay online as I want to set up a DD as it is cheaper etc. So does anyone…

Mine do. Three in particular stand out:

01 Jun 2016-Direct debit DVLA-WV****H
01 Jun 2016-Direct debit DVLA-K7****R
01 Jun 2016-Direct debit DVLA-MW****Z
With the date, full registration number, and value - not exactly 'off it goes and hope'.

So does mine. And I tend to keep vaguely important emails like direct debit details in the important folder of my emails account.
