Shower draining really slowly

Hi,
Our shower is draining really slowly after it's been on for a few minutes, and is starting to fill up with water if we use it for too long. The trap is completely clean, and sometimes if we flush the toilet in the en-suite the shower gurgles, which makes me think the problem is way further down in the plumbing.
We've tried bicarbonate soda and vinegar (lots of it) as well as the following two cleaning products:
I've tried the coat hanger hook trick but I can't get it very far due to the shower's design, also like I said I think the blockage is further down anyway.
Is there anything else we can try before calling a plumber?
Thanks

You could try using a plunger.

Get yourself one of these........

You can buy them all over the place.
Take the plug out of the plughole
Run plenty of water down the plughole then quickly cover the plughole with the rubber cup & press down on the handle.
Do it maybe 6 or 8 times then run more water down the plughole.
Repeat several times.
You might find a lot of horrible black smelly gunge appears but this is what you want to happen.
The pumping up & down of the plunger creates a sort of suck & blow ( !!! )
effect.
They look a bit ancient & but are remarkably effective......& cheap.

I find a concertina plunger to be most effective. They come in different sizes - I use the large one for the sink and the smaller one for the shower and basin:

You have tried the industry standard of a full kettle of boiling water.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

Expensive but does work just make sure you block/cover any outlets (plugholes, overflows etc) as it will blow out anywhere

I bought a product called drain weasel from Amazon when our shower was draining slowly. It unearthed wads of foul smelling grunge and hair and all has been fine since.
Cost a few pounds but was easy , quick and effective.0
