Just clicked away Picasa album ! help please?

Looking through picasa, I must have clicked on something on the left and all but a few photo's have disappeared. Does anyone know how I am able to retrieve them please?

What did you click on ?

Did you by any chance select them and delete them ?

You checked the recycle bin ?

I don't use picassa myself so might not be of any use.

Picassa is now google photos, is it not? If you delete pics you have 60 days to recover them.
Sign in to Google, go to the Google Photos app, look in the bin. They should be still there.

Oh, I have Google photo's and they are ALL in there!. I remember my son-in-law told me to open a google photo's account which I had forgotten about. Does this mean I can close the picasa account then?.

Either way, when I wish to save a photo from FB for example, I rt click it and it says "save to", then a copy goes to my desk top and one to picasa. (I think that's how it goes). So if I remove picasa, or when they go anyway, what will happen when I right click and then "save to"?

google photos should be backing up photos from the same folder(s) as picasa. if everything is working and you are happy with your photo file structure i would leave it alone. when you save any facebook images just save them to the folder that other photos are in and if you have the google photos backup installer on your pc they should be synced automatically

No need to remove picasa.....It's the same thing now and the same account. Just keep both, picasa will be phased out completely at some point, but you won't lose anything.

Picasa is on my vista ultimate laptop ( Windows) which is where I had installed Google photos and forgotten about. I also now ave Google photos on my iPad. It is my intention during the day, to install it on my new iPhone.

I am of the opinion that any photo I take using the iPhone, should automatically place he photo in Google photos and sync so they are viewable on all here devices. Is this so? Or do I need to do something else?.

Google photo's is now on iphone, ipad & laptop. When I take a photo using iphone, I want it to go to google photos on all three devices, how? thanks

it should do it automatically as when you install app on devices it should have asked if you wanted to back up to your google account. in google photos app settings just check that photos are being backed up to google account and that you only back up over wifi on phone (unless you have a unlimited data package)
