Don't think OP your dunce in asking this question.

I queried it the first time I got one of these triple points vouchers, as it didn't sound right.

As for the smart ars* of message 6 , it's not the maths side that throws you out but the way it's worded and your perception of what it means. By the way I'm good at maths!

It has been clarified that the wording was correct. Triple points. It isn't quadruple or triple plus the original.

It's basic arithmetic. No maths needed. ;)

I wasn't particularly trying to be smart, nor 'uppity'. I thought the darts example might help the OP understand where the total of 60 came from.

If you come on a website and ask a question, and get an accurate answer, I don't think you can justifiably complain! And if you ask a fairly basic question, frankly you can expect some flippant and/or robust responses. If you can't cope with that rather mild level of mockery, then you should perhaps seek your answers in a different location than an internet forum, or alternatively grow a marginally thicker skin.

I love that reply from someone with your user name. 10/10 sir. :D
  • No need to be a smart @rse. You may as well sod off with that unhelpful attitude.

It's pretty obvious where i got the 60 from without you trying to be clever.

20 points for the singular transaction.

Voucher gives you triple points so 20*3=60 added to the standard 20 points for a total of 80. I thought the voucher was tripling your standard to add with your standard. It turns out that isn't the case, wow, big deal, shoot me.

    I wasn't asking what is 20*3 was i now.

So why not go be a smart @rse elsewhere?!

No doubt you'll have some 'clever' response for my post but read the thread back & take a look where the attitude began .... again! I'll give you a clue .... towards the end of post #5 & the waste of time that is post #6.

You might want to look up the word irony in the dictionary.....

When you went to "skool", did you learn simple punctuation and grammar?
