Free to use cash machines in USA

When I last went away I got the Halifax card to use in the USA, as recommended on here but all the machines I visited to withdraw cash wanted to charge me to use the machine, sometimes $3 or even$5. Obviously the answer is to only take out larger amounts but does anyone know if I can find free to use machines when I go again shortly.

TD Bank in New York. Google Maps is your friend.
A handful of McDonalds stores have $0.99 ATMs.
Casino Royale in Las Vegas (opposite the Mirage) $1.00.
Research local credit unions and you might get lucky.0 -
None of those unfortunately this time, mainly Memphis and New Orleans0

I've found that the ATMs at the Asian banks didn't charge. Been a couple of years since I've done it though but definitely in NY and San Francisco I used Chinese/Hong Kong banks without a fee.
Guess its only useful in cities with large Asian populations where the banks are present.0 -

We go to Orlando on Saturday, I was going to get £100 worth of Dollars and then get the rest when I need it via my Halifax Clarity card. Do they charge t use the cash machines in Orlando as well? We're stopping in Kissimmee.No reliance should be placed on the above.0
