I'm not even entirely sure whether you are talking about the property you are buying or selling here but :

How would a buyer know know without asking? Hopefully buyers do not simply be rely on what appeared to be the case when the property was visited such as seeing a car parked.

So I guess that there is no decking. But suppose there was, would buyers not want the question asked so it would be clear if it was included in the sale.

And if there was raised decking, would a buyer not want theit solicitor to check compliance with planning?

Sounds like this is just a solicitor who is doing their job.

Our solicitor asked our vendors solicitor. We are the buyers and already know the answers.

Still not sure why you are so upset that your solicitor is being thorough.

Have you considered that she may be protecting your interests?

And if you don't care, remember that if you have a lender, your solicitor will be working for them as well and will be expected to protect their interests.

Erm where have I said I'm upset and don't care?!
My vendor may wonder why "we" are asking questions that we already know the answer to!
I didn't state that all questions they asked were ridiculous, just those two.
We don't have a lender so not applicable.

Anyway, we are going off on a tangent to the OPs post...

OP don't worry about the questions, just answer them truthfully and if you don't know the answers say you don't know.
    Good luck!

People have been promised parking that doesn't exist, i.e. an allocated parking bay. The enquiries form is part of the contract. Not just here say that has no legal standing in the event of a dispute.

Suggest you chill and let people do the jobs that they are paid to do.
