Re: Fuming re Sky..Any Advice/info TIA

Options
Hi There,

I haven't changed providers for fibre/telephone/tv in quite sometime. I spoke to a lovely guy at Sky who offered what we needed for £50...I work evenings so called today to go ahead (3 days later) as he said all details would be held on file.

...Called today and a lady answered saying not the case and offered me £70!pm Grrrrr! I need fibre optic due to living near an exchange or something (?!) and phone line we are not bothered about, useage is over 25mb (I think) and TV is basic as barely watch but partner wants HD sports. Does anyone know of any offers or can recommend any info. I've already cancelled our Virgin when I spoke to first chap at Sky so that ends 3rd July! :(

What about the Sky codes in this weeks email .

HD Sports dependant upon what actual sports required . BT TV / Sports SKY SPORTS and VIRGIN are the main suppliers .
  • If you don't get any joy with sky its possible to cancel your cancellation with virgin, i did this about 2 weeks into the cancellation notice without a problem.

If you live near an exchange, maybe you don't need fibre - input your Postcode and see what other people in your area get. http://www.broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk/broadband_speed_in_my_area_v2.aspx

As for HD Sports - check out NOW TV - Day Pass £6.99 on their website or ebay NOW TV Box with 1 Month Sky Sports Pass for £30.07 today :)

I was on Superfast Fibre with Virgin Broadband for years , now on Sky standard copper, perfect for NOW TV, unlimited use and never have any proplems @£7.50 a month
